Donald Trump was not going to be stopped by a bunch of unhinged radicals.

It occurs to me that many Trump supporter may start denying Hillary her “free” speech rights.

An idea founded upon nothing.

They would’ve been there earlier, but it’s the first of the month for benefits....

I’m not so sure. When I was much younger I used to take part in leftist protests, and it was common practice if there weren’t enough people, the organizers always had a roll of $5 bills and would start paying onlookers, and even winos to hold signs and march. $5 was the going rate at that time.

It took Fox News, on sight, about an hour to mention Mexican flags at the protest. They kept saying the protesters are out there with there signs and flags. Not until a few moments ago did they mention Mexican flags. Nowhere in the protesters, at least what can be seen on TV, can you find an American flag! Go figure.

I think the problem with some Cruz supporters is that they’re taking this very personally.

Cruz tells them he’s the principled conseravtive in the race, they see some evidence that this is true, and that’s the horse they’re backing. They’re wedded to a 1980-1984 vision of Republican conservatism and are oblivious to the fact that those we’ve trusted with realizing the vision haven’t delivered many results over the last thirty years.

I think they can appreciate that liberals and independents don’t agree with them, but they’re recoiling that so many Republicans are alienated by them, also.

The predominant vision of conservatism has won the popular vote only once in a national election since 1988. Many Republicans see that things need to be adjusted in order to win.

Other Republicans (like me) see that we’re in the early stages of a protracted period of liberal ascendancy and dominance that will likely only end when there’s no other option. And it won’t be pretty. But that’s how I see it. During this period, we should take whatever conservative victories we can get, because there will be very few of them.

Denial ain’t a river in Egypt. I suppose it’s easier to be a fly stuck in 1980 amber, continuing to use the old, dog-eared playbook. “Every time conservatism runs, it wins.” Except for all the times it lost, of course.

Change isn’t easy. Doing things the GOP way isn’t delivering good results. Adapt or die. Many GOPers, evidently, are choosing to die.

”We’d get 20 years in jail for doing it and we know it.”

Lol. You’re probably right. Also, being people who believe in the rule of law we would demonstrate peacefully and the MSM would never deign to cover us. I can’t help but think that the protesters who tried to rush the doors must have felt a sense of relief that they did not make it in. Better to be pushed back by the cops and give the appearance of action than succeed and find yourself in the middle of thousands of Trump supporters who are more than capable of defending themselves and their candidate.

I think Cruz would have been better off coming along about forty years ago. He could have ran for a nice, safe Congressional seat and had a nice career for forty years. He ain’t a national leader. His defects are very apparent.

Conservative flies stuck in amber can’t see it. But it’s true.

And Trump supporters aren’t?

I’m pretty sure the Secret Service is keeping on eye on Rosie O’Donnell so we don’t have to worry about her.

No. I’m a Trump supporter and would happily vote for Cruz. Well, before his recent antics demonstrate that he’s clearly not the man for the job.

Most Trump voters would support Cruz. Most Cruz supporters can’t wrap their minds around supporting Trump. That’s my experience.

I like Cruz, but I’ll vote for Trump if he’s the nominee - and I think he will be the nominee.
