“Walmart is a few miles farther than target, but they will get my business unless they do this suicide and then I will go somewhere else”

Just give it time, you will be disappointed in Walmart. They are the Disney of the 21st Century, getting to the point of unrecognizable to the vision to the founders.

Buy on-line or if you go in person, make sure you go to the bathroom before you go in their store.

Oh spit, I bet there’s hardly anybody in there.

Still, I wonder about the number of people that worked for them that this will sting. Who are not at all to blame for what the management did. What would have a heart is places like Walmart offering an expedited hire process for people who have Target jobs.

Not only is this a ‘war on women and children’....but women know....the lines are ALWAYS LONG in the restroom. Why do we need an added trannie to ‘clog up the wait time’?

Our local Kroger, which is down the street from Target, always has help wanted signs out so I would think that anyone who wants out could probably find a job in my area. Kroger manager, that I see every now and then at church, says new employees don’t stay long and most new people don’t seem to know how to work and don’t seem to “see” things that need to be done. I’m just amazed at how they bag groceries any more and the things they put together in the same bag.

Don’t think our local Target ever really recovered from the credit card issue. Would think from a corporate perspective the CEO would do everything he can think of to bring customers back rather than alienating a substantial part of their base.

There are websites where you can trade in unwanted giftcards for others and I believe Amazon has a trade in program.

4 targets, 12 minutes WT@?

I had to think about it, but we can get to five Targets within 15 minutes driving time from our home. One is a couple of miles from our home, two about 8-10 minutes away, and the other two 12-15 minutes away.

http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/homemade-soft-pretzels-recipe.html

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups warm (110 to 115 degrees F) water
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 package active dry yeast
22 ounces all-purpose flour, approximately 4 1/2 cups
2 ounces unsalted butter, melted
Vegetable oil, for pan
10 cups water
2/3 cup baking soda
1 large egg yolk beaten with 1 tablespoon water
Pretzel salt

Directions
Watch how to make this recipe.

Combine the water, sugar and kosher salt in the bowl of a stand mixer and sprinkle the yeast on top. Allow to sit for 5 minutes or until the mixture begins to foam. Add the flour and butter and, using the dough hook attachment, mix on low speed until well combined. Change to medium speed and knead until the dough is smooth and pulls away from the side of the bowl, approximately 4 to 5 minutes. Remove the dough from the bowl, clean the bowl and then oil it well with vegetable oil. Return the dough to the bowl, cover with plastic wrap and sit in a warm place for approximately 50 to 55 minutes or until the dough has doubled in size.

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Line 2 half-sheet pans with parchment paper and lightly brush with the vegetable oil. Set aside.

Bring the 10 cups of water and the baking soda to a rolling boil in an 8-quart saucepan or roasting pan.

In the meantime, turn the dough out onto a slightly oiled work surface and divide into 8 equal pieces. Roll out each piece of dough into a 24-inch rope. Make a U-shape with the rope, holding the ends of the rope, cross them over each other and press onto the bottom of the U in order to form the shape of a pretzel. Place onto the parchment-lined half sheet pan.

Place the pretzels into the boiling water, 1 by 1, for 30 seconds. Remove them from the water using a large flat spatula. Return to the half sheet pan, brush the top of each pretzel with the beaten egg yolk and water mixture and sprinkle with the pretzel salt. Bake until dark golden brown in color, approximately 12 to 14 minutes. Transfer to a cooling rack for at least 5 minutes before serving.

We got a new Walmart in our little town. A mere 2 minutes from our neighborhood. 2 MINUTES. I am not lying. It’s always so nice shopping there. I won’t ever step foot in a Target again. Even if they change their stance, I will treat them like I do JC Penney. Like they have contagious cooties.
4 life.

Today I did a little homework since Target was near where I was going to shop. I saw a study recently that showed the most traffic and times Target is busy, between 1 pm and 3 pm, so I made sure to go about my business during that window of time. Guess what ?

EMPTY. I mean ghost town nobody home EMPTY in the parking area. HA HA. I should have known though. This area went nuts at the Chick fil A fiasco. Lines of support like crazy. No way this conservative area would stand for that freak nasty behavior.

Target is taking a beating. I hope it hurts.

[[Wish I could get the cash and run.]]

You can- buy a bunch of crap- then take it back the next day and say “I just learned your company is supporting men using women’s bathrooms- As a person of morals, I can no longer justify using your store and I demand a refund on all these items” Or demand a refund first, then tell them why after they give you them oney-
