He’s strongest in Rhode Island where he gets 61% to 23% for John Kasich, and 13% for Ted Cruz. The numbers are very similar in Connecticut with Trump getting 59% to 25% for Kasich, and 13% for Cruz. Things are a little bit different in Pennsylvania where Trump’s share of the vote isn’t as high (51%) and Cruz edges out Kasich 25/22 for second place. None of these states are particularly amenable to the ‘Never Trump’ movement. Trump has the highest favorability rating of the GOP candidates in each state, and also handily wins head to head match ups with Cruz and Kasich in all three states. One thing that comes across in all these places is how unpopular Cruz is- he’s way under water even with Republican primary voters.

GOP women? You mean like the 57% of women he won in NY’s closed primary with three people in the race? Trump, to the dismay of those who hate him, almost always finds a way to win. He improved his polls numbers significantly in a mere two week period after WI. Just think what he can do over the course of months.
Yes, Cruz isn’t making alliances with Schumer, Pelosi and McConnell—only with Kasich, Romney, Jeb Bush, Lindsay Graham...
Did Cruz FUND these guys over more conservative opponents? NEVER.
I can’t pretend for one split second that Trump is anything other than a charlatan. ALL the evidence supports me, including now the intended-to-be-secret conversation by Trump’s establishment team that he is about to change, again. But the whole idea that this man has changed his positions on EVERY issue without an epiphany, and NOW he is America’s salvation, is nonsense.
I have support5ed Cruz throughout until he lost any path to the nomination which would not result in a pyrrhic victory.
That’s where we are.
If Trump is the nominee, despite whatever reservations, I will vote for him to defeat Hillary.
Trump’s potions statements, if implemented, would be far, far better for this nation than anything Hillary is proposing.
We will need to have people around Trump...and as a CEO he knows he is going to need them...who will help him implement those things.
At this point...that appears to me to be the only path forward with any hope of defeating the DNC (and the GOPe for that matter), and I simply will not sit it out and hand it to Hillary.

Give it up. Your boy has lost. We need to focus on Hillary now. If you wanted to really look at Trump fairly, you would have listed all the Republicans of all sorts that he’s also funded, including a certain Ted Cruz.
In the meanwhile, it might help you feel better if you read this thread and think how much better this would be than what Hillary would do:

Mercy, Cruz never funded anyone, including his own church.
He has received direct support and indirect support in the tens of millions from many parties incompatible with his taking points & campaign platform.
But, enjoy your vote tomorrow because Cruz will not be on a ballot again unless its for PM of Canada or Leader of the new North America Union.

Needs repeating. No body likes a sleaze ball. Ted is coming in a distant 3rd in a lot of these states and barely ahead of Kasich in others. GO TRUMP GO
Let’s go back to the winning ways of the GOP like Dole or McCain or Romney. We are sure to win then/s
I've posted several times that if I were in a battle for my life, I'd want a Cruz supporter in that foxhole with me.
They don't give up. As much as I get exasperated sometimes, I really sort of admire it.
