This thing should be over soon. should have been over months ago

IIRC, had it been over months ago I think your guy would have lost.

Hehe.

Indiana is a week after the NE Super Tuesday primaries.

Trump should sweep the board.

The open questions are whether he gets to 50% in Connecticut to take all the delegates and how well he does in Maryland, where the delegates are apportioned by CD.

Rhode Island is going to be a mess where Kay-sick and Cruz get 6 of the 19 delegates (3 each) for basically showing up, unless Trump can hold them under 10%.

Trump will take 10 of 19 there, if he is lucky.

DE looks like a lock and PA looks good, but for how the vast majority of delegates will go to the convention unbound.

If he is the winner, those of us who are “real,” will be the losers. Ask the good people of Scotland!

That he did cocaine in college is very serious. Much as I have disliked Cruz, this really makes me sick to my stomach and think he is more like the current 0ccupent of the White House than I ever imagined.

Deprogram yourselves of Drug War prejudices.

Cocaine is about as heavy a drug as alcohol, and no more.

As always, intemperance can lead to abuse and negative consequences but that is the case with all intoxicating substances.

“Cruz can’t make 1237. All he is now is a spoiler. The only man left is Trump.”.............

Imagine how far Trump would be ahead if there weren’t all the “spoilers”?

Tell that to someone who did not have a family member die from cocaine. Next thing I’ll be hearing is that it is no more dangerous than sugar. Trump has the right approach for being President: No drugs, no alcohol, no smoking.

If it was Trump that was using cocaine, would you still be saying no big deal, cocaine is a harmless drug, no different than alcohol?

Does anyone have a synopsis of why the south bailed on Cruz?
I’m thinking that the powers that be pegged us all wrong..just because you’re religious does’t mean you’ll vote for the guy carrying the Bible around but has supported policies that endanger ordinary citizens.

I’m not for Cruz - think he’s a lying phony (not to mention can’t stand listening to him) - but early on I was interested in him and even sent money, much to my regret.

Absolutely. The facts are what the facts are. (Hint: I’m not a fan of Cruz.)

Thanks.

And then it looks decent, and likely to get better, for CA.

More people have had family members die from alcohol than from cocaine; the numbers aren’t even close.

http://www.latimes.com/science/sciencenow/la-sci-sn-alcohol-related-deaths-years-lost-sxsw-20140313-story.html

http://www.rightdiagnosis.com/c/cocaine/deaths.htm

If these numbers are even close to the current numbers, alcohol abuse kills 400 times as many people as cocaine abuse.

You have my condolences for your personal tragedy.

“Cocaine is about as heavy a drug as alcohol, and no more.”

Not very accurate ... Cocaine leads to more alcohol use; in fact many people like cocaine because it allows you to drink more alcohol than you normally would be able to. I’ve seen this first hand a hundred times. It is a fast track to alcoholism.

You also didn’t mention the next step...smoking crack cocaine.

Indiana, Montana, Nebraska, and South Dakota...
Ted’s can win all of them and still lose the nomination.

If Trump wins any of those 4 he likely clears 1237 easily.

Those are the 4 that can make delegate chicanery irrelevant.

Trump 86% chance of winning Penn.

Trump 81% chance of winning Maryland

Trump 90% chance of winning Conn.

I think the Cruz campaign made the same mistake as most other non-southerners make in assuming the region cares about moral issues above everything else. Southerners are just as concerned about the economy, runaway illegal immigration and Islamic threats to the homeland as everyone else in the country. I think most people in the south don’t like politicians shoving religion in their faces either. When they analyze the 2016 race I think the biggest question pondered will be how did Cruz lose in the south?
