Question re: Cruz/GOPe poaching delegates?
Posted on 04/19/2016 7:48:13 PM PDT by Jim Robinson
I heard Cruz saying tonight that he has "conservative activists" working the delegate to woo them over to his side. Is this true? Isn't it much more likely that the GOPe insiders are working the delegates? They control the party apparatus, not conservative activists.

Austin, Houston, DFW or San Antone ain’t where real Texas conservatives hang their hat.
Heck 40 years, you probably still got that Uhaul receipt in your pocket.

How could I know something as simple as this could be so confusing to the Trumpbots? Psst, because Donald told us so.

I live in one of the most conservatives areas of Texas, Porter.
I moved from another conservative area, Sugar Land, where Tom Delay came from.
Maybe he wasn't a real conservative either?

A vote for tRUMP is a vote for Hillary....tRUMP cant win and obviously youd rather have her.
That kind of thought is as frightening as the Taliban.
TED CRUZ
IS a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN of the United States, regardless of your ill-conceived innuendoes.
Even the extremely LIBERAL CNN acknowledges it.

I heard Cruz saying tonight that he has "conservative activists" working the delegate to woo them over to his side.It is not the wooing over part, but the original selection that matters. Credit Cruz for paying attention.
Trump? Not so much. He will be in for a rude awakening if he doesn't win on the first ballot as he discovers who the GOPe assigned to be his delegates.

I am blown away at the degree of deception that has infiltrated this place. Never in a million years did I think I would ever see anyone here at FreeRepublic defend Planned Parenthood, defend Kelo, or praise Bernie Sanders’ trade policy, just to defend Donald Trump.

Sounds like Cruz is working his tail of to get Cruz loyalist delegates instead of GOPe loyalist delegates. While Donald Trump is not.

the only one mathematically able to reach the delegate count to win the Republican nomination and defeat Clinton?
One more time. Until a candidate gets 1237 or more delegates it's not over. Mathematically, logically, and really.
To: PrairieDawg
I understand what you are saying but don’t agree. Cruz can’t reach the delegate number to win. The only thing he can accomplish is to weaken the Republican frontrunner and enable Hillary. Cruz is proving its all about him, not about America or Americans, just like the GOPe.

The GOPe candidate finished in second place in New York.Yes he did and he is still hoping to split the party wide open at the convention. The GOPe purchased him and he WILL do their bidding! Sad.
