Question re: Cruz/GOPe poaching delegates?

Posted on 04/19/2016 7:48:13 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

I heard Cruz saying tonight that he has "conservative activists" working the delegate to woo them over to his side. Is this true? Isn't it much more likely that the GOPe insiders are working the delegates? They control the party apparatus, not conservative activists.

After a lengthy discussion with a potential National delegate candidate, i found out that the Cruz campaign or related SuperPacs MAY be paying for mailings, email campaigns and advertising, which costing in the thousands to push forth Cruz loyal delegates.

You don't know for sure? One potential delegate who may or may not become a delegate gives you chancy info and somehow something nefarious is going on?

“””””You sound like a child who says if I can’t have it I’ll destroy it so no one can.”””””

That sounds like a lot of Trump supporters who wont vote if Cruz gets the nomination. Heard it so many times I cant count.

He didn’t win Miss, AL, South Carolina, Arkansas, Ga or Tennessee either....and he should have been “expected” to do that. You don’t get more evangelical red than Alabama.

I wouldn’t pin their halos on yet.

The Republican party sold out long ago. Their behavior in Washington is crystal clear.

The important thing is not the full grasp of the proceedings, its a commitment to get our Nation back to a smaller trimmer, fiscally sound Government, encouraging job creation with sound economic policy, protecting our borders, caring for our vets, strengthening the military, eliminating Common Core and Obamacare and returning power to the local level.

The Republican GOP activists don’t seem to be on board with those goals so they can keep their proceedings and their party loyalty that is above loyalty to America and their fellow citizens while Americans who love their country and want the American Dream ride the Trump train.

Really? Trump past politics has been to buy and bully his way around the rules. That logical conclusion says he’ll prefer to be Emperor.

One of the talking heads on Michael Lynch spoke that Trump has never had to work with any Board of Directors, he’s always called his Big Business shots, but if he gets to be POTUS he will find the most difficult Board of Directors he then MUST work with, Congress. Trump will do one of three things, he’ll do very little other than “act Presidential” like nobama, he’ll rapidly tire of the real world of politics and let the VP be acting POTUS and not run for a second term or he will try to act as Emperor and bring on a gigantic Constitutional crisis from which America may not survive.

At this point the honorable thing for Cruz to do is end his campaign. For the good of the Republican Party and for the good of the country.

Evidently, Ted Cruz is not honorable.

Roger stone is insane

Yes, and he had a tattoo placed on his back of Nixon's face that "turns the women on." This is one of Trump's main advisors.

And for those of you who are inclined to say that he is no longer advising Trump I would like you to look up the March 2016 issue of Gentleman's Quarterly where he admits to be "speaking" to Trump on a regular basis, in strict violation of Federal law because he is also running a SuperPac which is helping Trump.

If Cruz was a quitter he would have never been a Senator. Running for Texas Senator was Campaign OJT from an opponent nearly as nasty as Trump.

You realize that is the narrative the enemedia is trying to paint Roger Stone as?

Since I have total distrust for the enemedia, I went and looked up some interviews with Roger Stone and the guy is very good at what he does and very articulate with his points.

Most of all, he predicted all the shenanigans the GOPe and Cruz would do to try to steal this election before it even started happening.

I can see now why the enemedia doesn't like him and want to go all Alinsky on him. Why did you buy in their narrative?

Agree.
Cruz is a smart man.
He’s all about stopping Trump obviously,
on behalf of the insiders, GOP.
I feel crooked and rooked.
May they reap what they sow.

At this point, niether Cruz or Kasich can get enough for the nomination. In the case of Kasich, he never could. So, your summation a few back was totally correct. The Cruz campaign is determined to undermine the voters and have a establishment backed candidate put forth for nomination. He actually is immature enough to think it will be him. It wont.

That happens, and the loyalists can go pound sand. Its over for them and they can go the way of the whig party.

The loyalists need to get in line and support Trump. Its over for their guys.

Neither is Jeb Cruz.
Teddy Bush is a wholly owned DC lawyer who peddles what is Sugar daddies want .

Robert Mercer who literally owns Ted Bush needs his 10 billion tax fraud case to go away .

Mercer is the evil NYC hedge fund guy who created the 400,000,000 Dirty trick smear PAC !
Ted wants to get rid of the IRS and force a Disastrous VAX tax that favor Robert Mercer .
Ted Bush promotes the treasonous TPP for his other owner Goldman Sachs who just happen to have his wife an employee who help write this utter anti American mess !
So Teddy is nothing but a owned DC establishment slime ball..

That’s true. Grassroots for Cruz. But ever since Iowa, they just refuse to vote for him except in the states controlled mostly by the GOPe. Strangest thing I’ve ever seen.

The Spirit of the Anti-Christ is strong in Ted Cruz because he got it from the Bushes.

Then tell me why good pastors all over the country from all religious persuasions - Protestant, Catholic and Jewish - have formed a prayer team that meets every week?

And where are all the people actively praying for Trump?

Anti-Christ would have a difficult time with all those pastors and rabbi's praying for him.
