I was told yesterday that Trump is a liberal Democrat.

My reply:

Build the wall.
Enforce the law.
Deport them all.
End sanctuary cities.
End anchor babies.
Slap a moratorium on muslim immigration.
Cut the taxes.
Cut the spending.
Cut the regulations.
Cut the government.
Cut the debt.
Cut the EPA.
Repeal ObamaCare.
Get the feds out and allow health insurance to be sold over state lines.
Send education back to states.
Get a handle on trade.
Make trade deals in our own best interests.
Bring back capital.
Bring back manufacturing.
Bring back jobs.
Strengthen the economy.
Defend the second amendment.
Defend religious freedom.
Appoint constitutional conservative judges.
Rebuild our military.
Bomb the shit out of ISIS (and take their oil).

End political correctness.
Take the GOP head-on.
Take the media head-on.
Take the liberals head-on.
And win, baby, win.

All of the above on a shoestring budget compared to most of the 16 competitors he’s defeated (after they spent 100's of millions of donor bucks).

No PACs.
No big donors.
No party support.

What’s democrat about any of the above?
What’s not conservative?
What’s not to like?

And I’ll add a few more:

Redo the horrid Iran deal.
Take a serious look at NATO.
Require our allies to pay more for their defense.

Rebuild the Reagan Coalition and attract blue collar workers by making America first again on manufacturing, trade, secure borders, economy and jobs, jobs, jobs!

Make America Great Again!

Cruz beat globalists at the Supreme Court in Medellin

Trump said he uses h-1b visas to hire cheap labor for his businesses.

He says it’s good policy

You are the one being duped

The Socialist line can be beguiling, especially for the young. I should know. It is seductive for the politically immature and the habitually downtrodden. It promises the moon and stars and makes the young devotee' "feel" like there's hope for a world that scares them.

It's like a Satanic siren song. You either snap out of the fantasy constructed for you or you drown in its deadly grasp.

See, there is the problem.

I see two different statements, opposite ends of the political spectrum, from the same man.

Doesn’t that make you at least WONDER which he is being truthful on?

With that seed of doubt, you next have to look at Whatever you can to determine a persons pattern.

Trumps is one in lock step with liberal policy after liberal policy after liberal policy for the better part of 4 decades.

From pushing partial birth abortion to (still) being just fine with homosexual marriage to raising taxes to funding democrats and establishment GOP folks’ campaigns.

The pattern is clear he is a lifelong liberal.

Maybe he changed. That would be the only explanation. It’s unlikely, but possible. The problem is, why would we risk that??? Why when we have someone whom HAS fought for our ideals and beliefs, all the way to the Supreme Court time and time again, and WON those fights.

Why risk Trump is a fraud when we have Cruz whom HAS a solid record?

Giuliani said he was voting for Trump in New York just like Romney said he was voting for Cruz in Utah. Both of those guys were previous primary candidates conservatives didn’t like. Trump himself endorsed Romney in 2012.

Most of Cruz’s new endorsers have bashed him hard in the past, so these endorsements do not say much about what they think of his policies. Cruz already had many endorsements from people I respect. The earliest endorsements matter more than these later ones, which are made by people who view both Cruz and Trump as a case of the lesser of two evils.

It’s wasn’t Middle America that went so far. It was years of loser leadership in D.C. and millions becoming totally disenfranchised, lied to and looted by the insiders country club in D.C.

I never said anything to you about Trump, you are just trying to deflect and be obtuse now.

You fail at reading comprehension, I said Cruz hadn't beaten the GOPe with what has developed over time with his campaign (in fact, joined in with the GOPe) but you deflect to Medellin.

I'm not the one being duped here, it's you that are attempting to dupe people here, Mr Agitator.

...and your law degree is from which school?

I went to college, but not to get a law degree.

Fortunately one does not need a law degree to know that your assertion is 100% false.

Let us know when you admit your mistake on the immigration question with respect to Presidential prerogative and who can be banned from entering the country.

As Windflier mentioned, the topic was widely discussed on this site back around the time Donald Trump first mentioned it.

It's not even a controversial question. The statutory law is perfectly clear.

So why not just admit you were hoodwinked by some left wing propaganda, and then we can move on.

Everybody makes mistakes...

“Especially when we have a candidate who has fought and is consistent and ready to hit the floor running, along with those positioned and being positioned to make it happen.”

I’m guessing you mean Cruz here.

The thing about that statement is it is what is said about Hillary. Neither one of them has ANY real accomplishments. They SAY they are always “fighting”, but they never accomplish anything. Cruz is a partial first term Senator who has done NOTHING! His whole life is a big NOTHING.

What’s going to help Trump’s brand more, going with a conservative position that might be less popular nationwide, or doing whatever is popular in the polls with all voters once he’s in office? Geraldo is actively pushing Trump on Fox because he says he believes he’ll flip-flop to the liberal side on the issues he cares about. If Trump’s brand is all that matters, his presidency will be about doing what the majority of the country wants, not about what he promised GOP primary voters.

Not the worst way to govern, it’s Bill Clinton’s 2nd term style, as opposed to Obama’s. But it’s not as good as someone who will try to push the country to be more conservative even if it’s politically risky.
