Donald Trump is set to win West Virginia but GOP elites will likely give the delegates to Ted Cruz anyway.
Its the latest state where Cruz will lose but garner more delegates than Donald Trump. Cruz supporters call this a good ground game. The Politico reported: Donald Trump has a new enemy in the fight for national convention delegates: the alphabet.
Trump is well-positioned for a resounding victory in West Virginias May 10 primary, but his win will be accompanied by a delegate selection process stacked in favor of people with last names at the beginning of the alphabet rather than his most committed supporters.
Its a quirk of West Virginias mind-bogglingly complex delegate election process that has the Trump campaign on red alert and seems likely to leave the mogul with weaker support at the national convention than hes expected to earn in the states primary. Its yet another convoluted primary system likely to add fuel to Trumps complaints that the rules of the Republican nomination process are rigged.

Of the 37 delegates on your ballot, you mentioned that three delegates were identified as “Trump” and three were identified as “Cruz.”
What about the other 31 choices? Were they unbound? Some for Kasich? Some for candidates who have dropped out since the ballots were printed?
Just wondering.
Your GOPe thug is stealing the Republican nomination, and you’re good with that. Things like this cause shooting. Lots of it.
The delegates are elected by name on the ballot. But there is some rule saying you can’t vote for too many delegates from the same district. The article actually says both Trump and Cruz would lose delegates if their voters pick the first 22 names on their lists because they won’t meet the district division rule, but Trump would lose a couple more. Kasich screwed up and only filed 10 delegates out of 22 potential to be elected.
If the campaigns let everyone know specifically which delegates to vote for, then they won’t lose anything.

Nobody’s stealing anything. Following the rules is not stealing, it’s playing the game better.
Ignorance causes violence more than anything.
Cruz is just plain disappointing...his collusion with GOPe
And that family interview
That precocious daughter was a charm...I really liked her
But Heidi is a hurt pained lady....it’s painted on her sweet face
I’m an old man I know women as well as I know myself
You can just see it
I loved the kids truly darling girls but the husband wife thing was strained no question
Freeper women here tell me I’m wrong
I didn’t see it, Wardaddy. But I’ve been noticing that Heidi’s face is very tense and unpleasant looking each time I’ve seen her since the scandals broke. I don’t know if she always knew but like Hillary just didn’t want to be humiliated, or if maybe he was cheating on her for real and she didn’t know.
It’s just sad
Really lovely bright little girls
Bingo
This is from Hoft, who has published lots ofabsolute falsehoods about Colorado.
I am an eyewitness in Colorado, went to March 1st precinct caucus and VOTED, got elected to County Assembly and State Assembly. Hoft was not there, was out of his mind. He repeats every rumor he hears without checking it out.
This was a fellow delegate. This is the real story:

So best to present the full picture, not your cherry-picked version of it.
Okay, I'll be happy to provide some more of the "picture":
It was members of a "party" (the Federalists) who helped form consensus for the Constitution: Alexander Hamilton, John Jay, and James Madison
The Republican Party (also known as Democratic-Republicans or Jeffersonian Republicans)...under Thomas Jefferson, was formed to push state's rights in order to fight against the "centralist" Govt the Federalists were forming.
So you had founding father's in two different "parties". The Federalists for the wealthy....and Jefferson's for the common man.
Thomas Jefferson's party splintered (over tariffs?), if I remember correctly., and the Federalists had pretty much disappeared as a party of influence.
You are correct that old George Washington didn't like people forming any type political parties as evidenced when he stated: "The very idea of the power and the right of the people to establish government presupposes the duty of every individual to obey the established government."
Seeing how the People nowadays are subject to the whims of the two-faced, systematically corrupt Uniparty system, the Founders would doubtless be furious...
Nope....they would just think they had seen all this before....
False. But to vote you have to turn off the Trump Rally re-runs, go to your precinct meeting at the school and VOTE, that's V-O-T-E (like I did). But you didn't care. And neither did Donald Trump, he didn't lift a single finger to encourage his own supporters to show up. The turnout of Trump supporters in my precinct was pathetic. There was only ONE guy who even wanted to be a delegate (one out of 9).
Cruz told his people to go vote. So did Rubio. Even though Rubio was dropping fast at that point, he still had TWICE as many supporters as Trump. But Donald didn't do bupkas to get people to vote for him in Colorado. He didn't say one thing. To his own people. Shameful. Incompetent.
Face it, Trump is the Choker that Choked in Colorado.
So now he's saying dumb stuff like "people were not allowed to vote." Nobody was turned away. Nobody. He is LYING. Lying Donny. Lying Donny.Lying, clueless whining Donny. "We're going to have so much whining, so much whining, we're going to be sick of whining."
And, you know what? He was right, I am sick of whining.
That would be difficult.
But taking over a party is much much easier. All you have to do is get your people to show up to caucus. And then vote. Yes, we did vote at Caucus, even though ignorant Donald is still lying saying nobody voted.
The Cruz people cared enough and were motivated enough to show up. But not the Trump people. They watched TV. You snooze, you lose.
You lose in the General when your base hates you too.
I believe the WV delegates are bound to whatever candidate they’re declared for on the ballot. They vote for the delegates by name. So theoretically multiple candidates could win some delegates.
we cant even get people to stop paying their taxes to starve the beast. You
think we’d ever get people to go the other route. No way. That ship
long sailed. People are too comfortable to ever take that route again.
The public hates your candidate and that hate is growing everyday.
Just because you’ve come to terms with your establishment backed candidate doesn’t mean most people here would ever do that.
Ted Cruz is the insider/establishment candidate being used to further the
Establishments power. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
Do you work for the BLM or the EPA ?
Having read the reports from various delegate meetings I now understand more about how a small oligarchy controls the local process and uses it to subvert the vote. So good luck with that party thing. Just another institution shown to be rotted from within.
And given your rhetoric about “ Donny” we don’t belong in the same party, anyway. Much gloating and self righteousness about this sick process. The folks aren’t buyin’ it and they aren’t buying your banner man Ted, either.
You’re right but I think you may be misreading the kids
There are several videos ( not just one) that show very sad mannerisms of the children toward their father. Set off my mom radar. And he goes on the interview and jokes about having to chase them down to kiss them.
