Conservative icon Phyllis Schlafly has been a national leader of the conservative movement since the publication of her best-selling 1964 book, A Choice Not An Echo. She has been a leader of the pro-family movement since 1972 when she led the fight to defeat the Equal Rights Amendment.
Phyllis Schlafly is 91 years-old.
On March 11, 2016 conservative icon Phyllis Schlafly endorsed Donald Trump for President at his St. Louis rally.
But not everyone in her organization, Eagle Forum – or her family – agreed with Phyllis Schlafly’s decision.
Last week Phyllis Schlafly released several board members for disloyalty to the organization. The group was planning to hold rogue board meeting to take over the Eagle Forum.
Today the rogue Cruz supporters attempted a coup.
They held a non-sanctioned meeting and blocked Phyllis Schlafly from their conference call.
This email was sent out Monday afternoon.
St. Louis, Missouri:
“At 2pm today, 6 directors of Eagle Forum met in an improper, unprecedented telephone meeting. I objected to the meeting and at 2:11pm, I was muted from the call. The meeting was invalid under the Bylaws but the attendees purported to pass several motions to wrest control of the organization from me. They are attempting to seize access to our bank accounts, to terminate employees, and to install members of their own Gang of 6 to control the bank accounts and all of Eagle Forum.
“The members of their group are: Eunie Smith of Alabama, Anne Cori of Missouri, Cathie Adams of Texas, Rosina Kovar of Colorado, Shirley Curry of Tennessee, and Carolyn McLarty of Oklahoma.
“This kind of conduct will not stand and I will fight for Eagle Forum and I ask all men and women of good will to join me in this fight.”

At approx comment #137 i addressed another Freeper and commented that i could not make a statement for lack of facts based on info i was aware of concerning weather it was a personal endorsement or for the Eagle Forum, i think you might have me confused with someone else if you think i support Trump.

Cruz isn't bullying delegates. He doesn't need to. The delegates he is pushing to have selected are delegates that are loyal to him - delegates that will support him on ballot 2, ballot 3, ballot 4, etc. That is why he put forth the effort in Colorado, Virginia, Georgia, Louisiana, etc. It is the actual person who is going to fill that delegate spot that Cruz is targeting.

I’m sure you can take any one of the facts Race posted and confirm it for yourself.
You must be fine with lying because people's votes did count. Delegates were selected by the votes of convention participants who were in turn selected by the votes of precinct caucus goers. The problem here is that Trump supporters were either too stupid or too lazy to show up. Compounding that is Trump delegates who actually made it to the convention but were too cheap or too stupid to pay the $5 dollar qualifying fee. And finally, there were the Trump campaign workers who were peddling flyers filled with errors, one of which actually directed Trump supporters to vote for a Cruz delegate.
And now, overwhelmed with embarrassment over the ineptitude of Team Trump, you try to assuage that with lies to convince yourself that Trump is somehow a pathetic whiny victim here.
How does Cruz damaging his bonafides with law-and-order conservatives remedy the issue you proclaim with Trump?

Most By-Laws have a “Notice” rule for Board meetings to prevent exactly this king of stunt. Often the Board Members do not know the rules, or think they cannot be enforced. I hope Phyllis gets a really good law firm and tears these people a new one.
