YOU WON’T BELIEVE THIS! CRUZ SUPPORTERS ATTEMPT COUP AT EAGLE FORUM!

Conservative icon Phyllis Schlafly has been a national leader of the conservative movement since the publication of her best-selling 1964 book, A Choice Not An Echo. She has been a leader of the pro-family movement since 1972 when she led the fight to defeat the Equal Rights Amendment.

Phyllis Schlafly is 91 years-old.

On March 11, 2016 conservative icon Phyllis Schlafly endorsed Donald Trump for President at his St. Louis rally.

But not everyone in her organization, Eagle Forum – or her family – agreed with Phyllis Schlafly’s decision.

Last week Phyllis Schlafly released several board members for disloyalty to the organization. The group was planning to hold rogue board meeting to take over the Eagle Forum.

Today the rogue Cruz supporters attempted a coup.

They held a non-sanctioned meeting and blocked Phyllis Schlafly from their conference call.

This email was sent out Monday afternoon.

St. Louis, Missouri:

“At 2pm today, 6 directors of Eagle Forum met in an improper, unprecedented telephone meeting. I objected to the meeting and at 2:11pm, I was muted from the call. The meeting was invalid under the Bylaws but the attendees purported to pass several motions to wrest control of the organization from me. They are attempting to seize access to our bank accounts, to terminate employees, and to install members of their own Gang of 6 to control the bank accounts and all of Eagle Forum.

“The members of their group are: Eunie Smith of Alabama, Anne Cori of Missouri, Cathie Adams of Texas, Rosina Kovar of Colorado, Shirley Curry of Tennessee, and Carolyn McLarty of Oklahoma.

“This kind of conduct will not stand and I will fight for Eagle Forum and I ask all men and women of good will to join me in this fight.”

This is a developing story—-

No they don’t. He is losing in actual vote tallies. People do not want him or he could win like a man instead of a sneaky scam artist.

Because he is a repugnant Canadian loser.

Actually there is a uniform nonprofit corporation statute which gives you a pretty good idea.

I guess you can’t read. The article said the group of 6 held an improper meeting agains’t the by laws of the organization. How is that LEGAL? But that is the Cruz way.

Here is the Cruz way: If you can’t get what you want because most people don’t want you try some dirty trix and see what you can get.

Of all the 17 candidates who have run for the GOP nomination in 2016 only Ted Cruz has been accused of dirty trix and campaign fraud. Time and time again.

No, he lists them!

From the first sentence in this release:

In a letter today, 20 Eagle Forum state leaders and activists endorsed Ted Cruz for President...

He then at the bottom of the release lists the names of those who endorsed him.

CA....

The way I read your statement doesn’t seem consistent with the bible. Trump isn’t pro-life, and only became ‘conservative’ when the campaign started. He himself has said he doesnt see a need for God. If we elect a fallen leader then we deserve what we get.

Christianity is what used to be the motto...of conservatives... personal individual responsibility... Trump actually fits this model more than any other candidate running for the office of president.... Christ said 'judge not lest you be judged'. That is a standard the hate Trump forces do not meet.

[But, what does that say about the importance (or unimportantce) of these other people to the Eagle Forum?]

PHYLLIS SCHLAFLY has a constitutional right to individually endorse a candidate. It’s no different than a pastor or legislator publicly endorsing a candidate.

If others on a board want to endorse a candidate, they have a right to do so. What they were ticked off about is they have no clout. As you say, Phyllis Schlafly IS Eagle Forum, and people respect HER opinion.

I Loved Vancouver. Real beautiful and great on the wallet. People are great.

Then on the east coast Quebec was almost nasty to deal with because the populations are the Walmart French and they can’t back their attitudes up with anything.

As long as she does not take money out of her non-profits and for her own accounts she could be fine firing a board not following her vision.

As long as legal diapers menta are made that don’t enrich her she could be fine.

You are wrong to state Trump us at variance with the Eagle Forum.

The Eagle forum didn’t want these things?

A strong military
To defund abortion services
To reign in government spending
To pay down the federal debt
To overturn Obamacare
To replace it with a robust private sector Free Enterprise private solution
To build a wall on our Southern border
To evict illegals
To end Sanctuary Cities
To create at atmosphere of growth and full employment
To create fair trade rather than self destructive anything but free trade
To change the tax code for the better
To defend gun rights
And many other sound goals...

Horse stuff!

Strange how all these accusations come Cruz way when he’s the only threat to Trump.

There is a whole OP that JimRob started where he spells it out.

I’ve already had to dig it up once. If you are interested, just do a search for it.

If you find that OP please ping me as I missed it. Thanks

See the part, "Full text of the letter appears below."

The signatures are part of that letter. So is this:

With this in mind, we, the undersigned Eagle Forum state leaders, enthusiastically endorse Ted Cruz for President of the United States. From the grassroots up, we will work to ensure his victory: Ted Cruz is our choice, and we refuse to be an echo.

“Believe it or not voters support Cruz for his conservative principles, policies and class.”

Believe it or not an irrelevantly small percentage of voters support Cruz for his phony principles, policies and lack of class.

Free libbyloon lie repairs.

Repeating talking points put out by the MSM is no better than accepting the viewpoint of your opposition. Why adopt their narrative and use language crafted by your adversaries as the rational point to negotiate from?

The MSM is the propaganda arm of the government, long since co-opted by Alinskyite operatives in support of their agenda. The artful phrasing of words can have impact beyond the sum of their individual meanings; and, use of an adversaries assertions is stealth acceptance of their viewpoint. Make the effort to challenge the tenets of anyone being overly helpful, especially those whom usually are supportive of your opposition; and, now out-of-character, want to help pick your next champion.

It seems that it is more important to Trump supporters to push distorted propaganda than to learn the truth.

The looks like a battle within Eagle Forum where they should have agreed not to endorse anyone as an organization and get through the primary by agreeing to their general principles.

Phyllis Schafly apparently asked the whole Board (including her daughter) to resign and this looks like it has escalated further.

Its like this ...

4 years ago the RomneyBots maligned the Conservatives for refusing to vote for a pro-abortion, same sex marriage, global warming, Amnesty, anti-troops, anti-veterans, cap N trade, etc Willard...

This time we don’t have the luxury of vetting for the social issues etc...

our country is in peril..

Trump wants to build a wall and deport the illegal aliens...Cruz and his bestie Glenn beck took teddy Bears down to the border to encourage the continuation of illegal entry rather than to stop it..

Trump wants to only allow well vetted moslems into our country...Cruz seems to want to be inclusive...

Which one appears to be concerned about me, an American citizen, and my American family ???
