All I know about arm twisting in the state convention is what we are both hearing on the news today. In the last election, I had the impression that most of the skullduggery was coming from the delegates themselves (remember the Ron Paul supporters?) rather than from the candidates. Things are probably aggrevated this year because the delegates are even more unbound than usual due to the controversial elimination of even the straw poll.

I was thinking the same thing, Trump is popular in Nevada; of course the difference is we had honest, orderly, well-run caucuses here.

As I have pointed out on earlier occasions, I attended a state convention a few years ago and was so disgusted with the general quality of the delegates that I have avoided these things ever since. (This was the screaming mob who put Dan Maes at the top of the gubernatorial primary ballot.)

Most of these Colorado delegates will be from “non-urban areas” and likely won’t be intimidated by Trump trying to play New York Values Mafia style.

Don’t misunderstand, I’m all for Trump and Trumpbots pulling these sort of “gangster” threats. It has evolved into working very well..... to Cruz’s benefit.
