What a horrible way to elect candidates.. So, what you are saying is that there’s a whole lot of arm twisting going on.
All I know about arm twisting in the state convention is what we are both hearing on the news today. In the last election, I had the impression that most of the skullduggery was coming from the delegates themselves (remember the Ron Paul supporters?) rather than from the candidates. Things are probably aggrevated this year because the delegates are even more unbound than usual due to the controversial elimination of even the straw poll.
