Clean sweep for Ted Cruz in early stages of Colorado delegate hunt
Wingate Wire ^ | 04/02/2016 | Christina Harvey

Posted on 04/03/2016 5:33:55 AM PDT by SeekAndFind

Cruz supporters won all the delegate slots in the state's 1st and 6th congressional districts, representing the Denver and Aurora areas. Ted Cruz, submitted their names for consideration, setting up a battle for the final delegate selection Sunday.

"At this point there are two candidates, and only two candidates, with a plausible path to win the Republican nomination", Cruz said. "If we nominate Donald Trump, it hands the general election to Hillary Clinton with a big silver bow".

Cruz declined to meet with reporters afterward and didn't answer when asked how he felt about his chances of winning over North Dakota delegates. Cruz is expected to be there and according to Fox 31, Trump is now unconfirmed, but Ohio Gov. John Kasich is not attending. Wingate

The state's Republican party opted not to hold a primary, caucus or presidential preference vote of any kind. Unlike every other state, except Colorado, GOP stronghold North Dakota does not hold a caucus or primary. But unlike other states, it's not enough to win one contest here - the state's delegates will remain free agents going to the convention, meaning they could easily swing the nomination.

Wasn’t Teddy suppose to win 6 of the 8 CDs? I think I read that somewhere.

That’s because iCarly had a conflict and couldn’t be there to provide diversion and cover for those pesky questions.

All true. On Trade and Immigration, Cruz has betrayed this nation.

He says one thing, and does another. He is a completely amoral individual and lies without conscious.

2 Timothy 4:3 seems to be the only explanation.

If Cruz and the GOP Establishment manage to steal the nomination, you can start buying your tickets to Hillary's Inauguration Gala Ball.

I am simply amazed at the amount of people who have fallen for this charlatan.

People need to start waking up to the fact that Cruz has his citizenship records sealed. What is he hiding? What doesn’t want voters to know?

Many of my church going friends are over the top aggressive in advocating for this guy. Amazement is right — I am simply astonished at how many people that I consider otherwise intelligent folks will throw away their brain when some pol utters a few magic words.

What a bunch of Croc!
If Ted wins we will hand over the keys of the Oval Office to Hillary.

If Trump wasn’t running I would vote for him, holding my nose because his religious extremism is extremely off putting. How in the world is he going to get cross over votes? He has no appeal to blacks, and due to his immigration stance I don’t think he’ll get Hispanic votes.

So vote for Cruz if you want to hand Hillary the presidency in a nice big silver bow.

>>Cruz trying to win without voters.

The voters in my neighborhood caucus outvoted the Trumpskyists 22 to 6.

YMMV.

The Colorado primary system is further proof that the entire GOP is conspiring against Trump. They changed the rules to not allow the voters to even participate in their caucus. I am absolutely sure when they announced that cruz would win them all. He hasn’t yet, but he probably will.

By my reckoning, Denver and Aurora and largely liberal areas.

You two fine FReepers are absolutely correct.

I began this primary season supporting Cruz before Trump got into the race, and even at that point, I believed as many did (including our Esteemed Founder) that the only two candidates we could trust were Cruz or Trump.

But as time went by, it became increasingly apparent that there was something "not quite right" with Cruz, small cracks began to manifest themselves in what I had thought was a rock solid conservative. His rallies took on more of a flavor of religious revivals, and as the teachings of his evangelist father were revealed (all of that 7 Mountains / Dominionist clap trap), it became clear that Cruz was a candidate with little in common with the Judeo-Christian foundations of our Nation. That Dominionist nonsense is just one more cult, and what really set off the alarm bells was that maniac Glenn Beck becoming part of the Cruz campaign, we could write a small book about that fruitcake and Cruz never, not ONCE, renounced, disagreed or condemned the execrable utterings coming out of Beck's mouth.

It's been all downhill from there, and I just thank God for granting me the spiritual insight to recognize a religious fraud when I see one.

Cruz needs to get out of this race, exactly as JimRob urged him to do:

Trump has a great shot at winning with the majority. Cruz has a tiny sliver of a chance. He should step aside.

I read a recent editorial that was spot on. The writer said that the GOP Establishment has made their decision: they will steal the nomination from Trump and let Cruz have it, knowing full well he will be creamed by Hillary.

The GOPe never cared about us anyway, they only fed us rhetoric they knew we would want to hear - but they never meant it. They would never stop illegal invaders, cut off giveaways to the Gibsmedats, stand up to the New World Order, fight for the middle class, and combat social evils like child murder and homosexuality.

The GOPe has become massively wealthy due to insider trading, polling, consulting, and lobbying.

All their care about it is their own wallets.
