Kevin Williamson is Dana PeRino’s favorite NRO writer. Both are *itches.

Does anyone know where these, “Conservative establishment” folks have been for the past few decades? Who are these people?

I have insomnia sometimes as well - just my body chemistry in my case I guess. Try warming wine. Warm wine in a saucepan over a fire (not microwave) it is called Mulling I think. This burns off some of the alcohol and it helps with the sleep. http://dish.allrecipes.com/warm-up-with-mulled-wine-and-cider/

I know the feeling. The mulled wine with some herbs like a cinnamon stick (you can find recipes online) seems to work wonders. Don't drink wine without mulling it though - that does not help sleep.

http://www.wisegeek.com/what-are-some-herbal-sleep-aids.htm

Hot mulled wine can also be used as an herbal sleep aid, when the correct herbs are used. Warmed wine added to a stick of cinnamon, several cloves, and a teaspoon of woodruff will ease a racing mind and help induce sleep. English herbalist Gerard once infamously stated that pouring wine into woodruff would “make men merry.”

True conservatives KNOW that DONALD is an establishment type.

“Trump has long praised Mitch McConnell, the man who is the embodiment of why people are fed up with the party and attracted to Trump in the first place. While conservatives were fighting to get rid of McConnell in the 2014 primaries, Trump said, “It would be a shame if he didn’t win, because he has such power, it’s so good for his state.”

It comes as no surprise, then, that late last year Trump criticized Cruz for acting like a “maniac” when he called McConnell a liar. How does Trump plan to fight political correctness and the culture of the D.C. establishment when he has championed the mastermind of the GOP establishment and is offended by the non-politically correct criticism of its leader?”

The only reason the GOPe isn’t supporting Trump is because they know he’s a loose cannon.

If Trump is a loose cannon he is not establishment. You really don't know what establishment means. Establishment means following a pre set way of doing things and thinking the same way on things. Cruz is a life time govt employee - you can't get more establishment than that.

The dislike of Cruz from his GOP colleagues comes from the fact Cruz is a douchenozzle and not from some sense that he is ultra super duper conservative.

The arrogant one is Cruzie, who thinks that he can walk out if a brokered convention with a nomination. So he is either arrogant or stupid.

People can and do change their minds when they learn new information. I would much rather that, than someone who forms an opinion and sticks to it no matter what. The ability to constantly reassess does not make a person a "loose cannon."

...conservatives have long mocked as the cloistered existence of liberal elites who report on a nation they don’t understand.

It’s not “liberal elites”; it’s globalist uniparty elites. And they perfectly understand the people of this nation. They hate the people of this nation as they hate this nation that often stands in the way of globalism’s power, ideology and plans.

This election has laid bare the true nature of the unelected self-appointed jackanapes who have been profiteering off the cultural battle for decades. Their stolen conservative garb has been torn away to reveal the red uniforms underneath. They may soon come to understand that the hoi polloi, whom they now so adroitly disparage, once adorned the streets of Paris with their forefathers. Our country escaped that terror the first time, but the Jacobin spirit is never sated with the blood of one generation. The ideals and morals that stayed the hand of our founders now lay scattered among the ruins of our nation and these traitors will be hoisted on their own petard.

You need a dictionary.

Trump is the definition of arrogant.

There will be no “brokered” convention.

Nobody will have the REQUIRED 1237 on the first ballot.

There will be a second ballot, and many bound delegates will be released, and Cruz will win on that second ballot.
There is nothing “brokered” about that process.

Cruz, Mr. Arrogant, will never, ever be the nominee.

Mark that down.

Says the guy whose candidate can’t get 8 state majorities, and who is losing by millions of votes.

Sad.

These are the same tactics they used to smear the Tea Party. I wasn’t phased then, I won’t be phased now.
Trump 2016

Exactamundo. Same way TEA party movement was marginalized. Frontal attack by Dems, flank attack by MSM and back stab by GOPe. Clearly the intent is to “Goldwater” Trump. Either block him or make him so damaged he can’t win. When your elected party leaders prefer a Dem to your candidate it’s time to move on. RIP GOP.

Good thing Trump isn’t arrogant!

Trump is actually quite humble.
