Trump is Right, He Could Seek to Have Michelle Fields Prosecuted
Law Newz ^ | March 30, 2016 | Chris White

GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump caused another media frenzy over comments he made during a series of interviews in the aftermath of news that his campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, had been charged with simple battery. The charge stems from an incident where Lewandowski allegedly grabbed the arm of former Breitbart News reporter Michelle Fields after a press conference in early March.

During interviews Tuesday night and Wednesday with almost all of the major news outlets, Trump defended Lewandowski’s actions and he dismissed the incident as “very minor,” telling reporters “practically nothing happened” and that he didn’t believe police should’ve brought charges in the case. But what really seemed to set people off is when Trump went a step further and suggested that he might press for charges himself over what happened.

“I’m sure there will be a counter-claim coming down the line,” Trump said in an interview Wednesday morning on Good Morning America. “Should I file charges against her because she touched my arm as well?”

Not ‘could’, but ‘should’.

End this non-sense and lies with the fact that
she DELIBERATELY went after the US candidate
for her Honduran family.

If she was able to penetrate the Secret Service to get in position to so much as touch Trump, then I’m thinking this is a federal offense of some sort. Am I wrong?

He’s always threatening suits. I’d like to see him pull the trigger for a change.

Well as they say around here Little Lord Fauntleroy, GIT ER DONE.

Donnie seems to never be short of words but when it comes to legal action he talks a big game but falls short in the action department.

Hey Donnie, Where’s that Lawsuit you were going to file against Cruz for making you all mad a cry because he was all mean and stuff by using footage of interviews of you?

Sniveling little coward...

Sometimes threatening to counter sue is all,it takes
Why waste ammo on a firefight if a shot over the bow makes the point?
Fields is obviously getting legal advice from someone who has been given fair warning
Trump does not have a record of submitting to shakedown

Nice spin, I'll give you a 9.15 for effort however you haven't really thought this though. If what you are saying is true (which we both know it isn't)then SS detail will have to be fired for failing to do their duty. Is that what you really want?

...and in the background, Ben Terris is laughing his a$$ off! Terris is the one who got this whole shebang rolling. Terris is the one who egged on Fields with his feigned concern over her well being and interest in telling “HER” story. Without his elaborate exaggeration there would have been no story. He manipulated this whole mess at the start and quickly faded into the background while so many in the media and here at FR just kept pushing that snowball downhill.

Terris has scammed everyone......but nobody sees or cares.

You are likely correct, but it would be a political misstep if Trump went after her. He has to start building some bridges with women voters. This would not help.

Yes

But I think firing is too harsh
Simply reassign them to guarding Hillary - that should be adequate punishment

Yes, it is:

18 U.S. Code § 3056 - Powers, authorities, and duties of United States Secret Service

(d) Whoever knowingly and willfully obstructs, resists, or interferes with a Federal law enforcement agent engaged in the performance of the protective functions authorized by this section or by section 1752 of this title shall be fined not more than $1,000 or imprisoned not more than one year, or both.

Does Michelle Field want to be treated as equal or as a snowflake? Corey could sue Field for slander
