Washington Times columnist fired after confirming 2 of the now 8 Cruz mistresses [should be 5]

After the Washington Times quickly disassociated from him "for saying a scandal may be true", Johnson seemed to still be a class act. He tweeted that he respected them and had enjoyed working with them. He did not understand though why they would do this via Twitter instead of a phone call or even an email.

However, now there are attempts to smear and discredit him, claiming they have not had a relationship with him in over a year which he soon replied to providing proof of being paid just last month.

= Scenario 1: The GOPe was NOT behind the sex story’s release. They are now frantically trying to figure out a Plan #4,249 because all of their previous plans have failed miserably.

This. And Cruz was never part of a Jeb splitter strategy. The GOPe attempts to woo Cruz are standard procedure for the establishment. Don't make too much of it.

At worst Cruz is an unwitting GOPe pawn who thinks he can stay in and win at a contested convention.

Well, i used to think that, but every time i go there in my mind, it has to be one of the following:

After going through those options, I usually end up back at the scenario where he's complicit with the GOPe. :-)

“Occams razor....Trump did it.”

Not at all. Occam’s Razor says that Team Cruz attacked first with the Melania picture as a way of drawing Trump into a fray they knew was about to blow up in their faces.

I’ve got to admit that it was strategically brilliant, and the timing was absolutely perfect. To the low info crowd, it’s entirely plausible that Trump is behind the Cruz sex scandal allegations.

Unfortunately, the long term workability of this scheme depends on whether or not there’s any truth to it. If even one bimbo spills the beans, it’s lights out for Cruz, and Trump is completely absolved of all suspicion.

So, when is Ted going to threaten the National Enquirer with a lawsuit for libel and defamation of character? I mean, he is innocent, right?

Right?

I’d say complicit.

1. The Goldman Sachs ‘loan’ got him into office.

2. His wife works for Goldman Sachs and that’s where Ted has his current health insurance from.

3. If they put up someone in a primary against Ted he’d have problems if his presidential efforts tank. Ditto with Rubio - who went completely kamikaze on behalf of the GOPe.

Ted is the outsider, nerd, true believer in Washington and the establishment hates his guts.

Ted is being used here and has no chance of being the GOPe’s chosen candidate. They may though have written off this election in favor of Hillary. Ted would be easier to beat than Trump.

Btw, Ted and his wife live in separate houses 1,500 miles apart. That’s gotta be tough on a marriage. (Washington Post story mentioned this.)

Cruz showed he is a rat for not dropping out after Super Tuesday and allowing concentration of fire on the Democrats.

Then War came to Chicago and he joined the Enemy.

He should drop out of the race and allow fire to be concentrated on the Democrats.

Trump is wiping the floor with the Democratmedia. It is rapidly losing the ability to dictate events since he won’t stand for any of its standard crap. The crap which generally sends Republicans diving under the bed.

The difference with Cain and Cruz is WE DON’T think he is one of our best candidates, YOU may think he is, BUT WE DON’T !!!! Many of us feel and think there has ALWAYS been some sort of slime factor, a preachy tone in his voice and WEARING his faith on his sleeve!!! The TRUE people of faith are private about their faith and do good deeds quietly and anomously!!! There is NEVER a NEED to brag about their christianity it is always between them and their GOD!!!!

To which I will not vote. The “beat Hillary at all costs” mantra does not apply to me if the GOP denies the nod to Trump or Cruz through shenanigans.

It won’t matter if any of us vote if the GOPe is allowed to dictate the candidate. What bothers me most is the fact that they appear stupid enough to foist an unwanted candidate on the voters...what better method to assure defeat? BTW the only intelligent discussion about this very strange election season is here on Free Republic, thank you all!

What about paramour?

LOL...the first time I heard that word spoken was a backyard BBQ at age ten or so. Two ladies were discussing the sole bachelor in the neighborhood and mentioned something about his paramour. The southern accent sounded out as powa-moah. Thinking about my push mower lawn cutting business, I asked if they though Mr. Brown would let me borrow his powah-moah on week days while he was at work. With a barely suppressed giggle one lady said, "Oh my, aren't you the precocious one". I walked away red faced in all the laughter.

@MONAKatOILS Other journalists have the stories & will release them. It’s not appropriate for me to scoop them & benefit from their work.

If Heidi insisted on only male staffers, then why have they just hired a new female communications director? That is what Amanda Carpenter and Katrina Pierson used to be. Total BS.

This story has been pushed by Roger Stone for months. Publications confirmed that the story was pushed to them but that there was no supporting evidence. Nothing but a rag like the Enquirer would publish it and even they only cite it as rumor.
