Ted Cruz on Wednesday mocked Donald Trump for bowing out of a debate next week in Salt Lake City, and the Texas senator vowed to call out the GOP front-runner at a gathering of a major pro-Israel lobby group next week.
Trump said earlier in the day that he would not participate in the Fox News debate in Utah on Monday, and John Kasich quickly said that he wouldn't attend if Trump didn't. Later on Wednesday, Fox News formally canceled the event.
Trump said he would use his time instead on Monday to address a conference hosted by the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, the prominent pro-Israel group. Cruz's campaign said in a statement Wednesday that Cruz would use his time at the same conference to "highlight Trump's positions -- or lack thereof -- in front of the thousands of AIPAC members in attendance."

The political “debates” on tv are more like World Wrestling Federation.

During the last primary night Cruz was heard shouting, "What round is it?" - He was hoping he was ahead on points only to find out it was another crushing defeat.
Kasich is the one that blew a golden opportunity here by backing out. He would’ve gotten more air time than he had in the previous debates, if it was just a one-on-one with Cruz.

Let’s be intellectually honest. Teddy has no path to the white house. His appeal is limited to states where the outcome was never in doubt. Maine is going to go for the rat. AK, TX, WY are going to go to the gop candidate. Teddy was completely left behind in states like FL, VA, and OH. States that must be won by the gop candidate to win the general. Winning just the states that willard won...if that...is not going to put Teddy in the white house.
