I think the security tapes were reviewed THAT NIGHT and it was instantly determined that very little if anything happened. Trump said as much. It explains Drudge not picking up the story and it explains Breitbart not backing Fields.

Meh. Drudge does not print anything. He merely links to others' work and gets paid handsomely for it. A good racket if you can get it.
Last Friday Rush battered Trump over this false allegation, yesterday crickets, Rush said nothing about this story, said Cruz was 100% correct in his comments about the violence at the Trump rally.
I was on the daily Rush thread here, people were livid, many including me said they were done with Rush.
Keep in mind in the past if you said something about Rush on that thread you got flamed. Not yesterday.
Drudge is not a blogger with Drudge report. What he is technically is an human edited news aggregator.
