What about that bastion of tolerance in 1968 Chicago (the Dumbocrats completely unbound)?

I was waiting for him to say this.

Cruz, what did you do? you broke my heart. If you were here, I’d kiss you on the lips and seal the deal.

(either means complete love and respect OR you’re dead to me among old world Italians. I HATE it when my old uncles kiss me on the lips!!!! That tradition dies with them.)

you wanted power so much more than you wanted to do the right thing.

what a shame.

Cruz blamed the protesters before Trump blamed them.

The Chicago protest and Ted Cruz’s reaction is a turning point in the campaign in my humble opinion. Like a few other long time freepers who have been Ted Cruz holdouts, I am now moving even closer to jumping on the trump train.

It was CLEARLY a planned and organized and coordinated “action” by the Soros-funded anti-American left. We should expect, and be prepared for, more of this through November.

Protesters doing what they are paid to do (SEIU, MoveOn, etc.) are not the problem.

Decent, middle-class folks are the problem for not bowing and reciting mea culpas.

Now, pardon me while I check my White privilege.

Black Lives Matter and George Soros are to Blame.

Not Trump.

Trump should start asking these BlackLivesMatter clowns if they believe 58% unemployment is what they want for black youths. He should ask if they like the current system. Has Obama and the democrats done so much for them?

He needs to turn this around. The best strategy is to ask them if they like it the way it is. Ask them if the want real opportunity.

He should use the opportunity to reverse things on them. It may actually cause a small percentage of them to even think.

Here is the one-way street of leftist violence in America.

If hundreds or thousands of Trump supporters showed up at a Bernie rally, got into a few fistfights and shut it down...

Who gets the blame?

I think last night maybe just sealed the nominations for Trump.

It is a Wellstone Memorial type moment.

Voters are not going to be impressed Cruz/Kaisch/Rubio rushed right out to side with the rioters.

Donald Trump on Saturday blamed organized "thugs" for protests that shut down his Chicago rally and said the incident had "energized America."

In a country founded on ordered liberty, protestors do not have a right to anarchic freedom.

Cruz sold out every conservative principle he ever had...which in retrospect doesn't seem like many. He sold out for what he thought would be political gain and sided with far left, radical leftist groups in order to try and score points.

If this doesn't show his true character then nothing does.

...it turned chaotic, with scuffles breaking out between protesters and backers of the real estate magnate.

It remains to be seen whether the physical contact was initiated by the move on thugs or by the "I've had enough of this crap" faction of the rally attendees. You know which way the enemedia will try to portray it...

Trump:
“What is she doing drawing Muhammad? And it looks like she’s actually taunting people – and it’s disgusting that it happened and everything else. But why are they doing drawing Muhammad? Isn’t there something else they can draw.”

Spin as hard as you want. That is Cruz siding with the rioters. He had a chance to come out and unequivocally condemn the violence and instead he weaseled.
