Friday, March 11, 2016: At a media availability in Chicago, Ted Cruz basically blamed Donald Trump for the violence and protests that occurred earlier in the day at a Donald Trump rally at the University of Illinois-Chicago. The rally had to be cancelled due to safety concerns.
LOL You believe that? That’s not how it works. Public event security decisions are made in the police adminstration or in the mayor’s office.

Somewhere along the way, Cruz forgot you cannot have a nation of laws without civil society. Tonight the mob beat back civil society, and cruz sided with the mob.
Trump said on Hannity that HE cancelled the rally.
Moveon.org and #blacklivesmatter silences Trump.
One hopes he never has to face ISIS.
The Chicago protest cover group is headed by Cong Gutierez which organized the effort. At first a dozen or so showed up and some of the gtoup managed to get inside the arena but grew later to about a thousand. Some about a hundred or so got inside but the rest stationed themselves blocking the huge parking lot.
Gutierez was using the inflamatory rhetoric Trump has been using during the campaign which included that KKK charge and Trumps seeming lasical dismissal of it and blew it up to build those protest numbers up .
The conduct of this election and Trumps rhetoric and choice of delivery is why both Cruz and Rubio have crititcized Trump. Which is why inadvertenly he brought it on himself.
Have not desired to view the thread article/clip. Would you be willing to amplify your statement about the GOA? Have they actually endorsed?

People have the right to PEACEABLY assemble in this country, guaranteed by the 1st Amendment. That means that YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO DISRUPT THAT ASSEMBLY.
He canceled at the request of the police. Good decision all around.
