So the commies control it all. Good plan.

I’m sure Nancy Pelosi can help you with that.

This is a waste of time, frankly. You go on off and feel good about accepting the second most evil establishment adherent. I’ve tried it twice with the last two elections. I won’t do it again. I’m done with your input on it. Thanks but no thanks.

Well, just for your info, not that your closed mind cares, but I have been doing this since 1972, I went Gault once, in 1992 and it got us slick Willy.

So you just take your ball and go home, just don’t do any bitching when things don’t go your way.

So have I.... you take your ball and go home. You are obviously good at picking a losing team.

So true.

My only question now is how many of the ‘tea party’ candidates will roll after election time. And how fast.

And how many were establishment all along but just hid it to get elected (Cruz).

I don’t think the “Republican Party” can actually be rehabilitated, frankly. It is one of the big only-two, and the only way we can control what that side of the two-party equation does, is to figuratively destroy it in-place and rebuild it without the baggage of its leaders and their cowardly appeasing ways.

We cannot control the other side (Democrats) because our quisling, cowardly Republican leadership have given them too much power, but we can damn well sure correct our errors with Republican Establishment via our voting. Destruction of that party is the only means by which another one, more receptive to the voters, can rise.

Understand. It is the allure of DC power, greed and personal imperfection of spirit in my opinion. It takes someone very strong indeed to resist and overcome it.

Well, that and the manilla envelopes of pics of past deeds too.

I’m leaning more to the conclusion that ‘they’ don’t ‘allow’ anyone that can’t be bought or blackmailed to win a primary.

Newt Gingrich was my Congressman. He was a subsequent replacement for Larry McDonald (IMO a fine American patriot Democrat killed in the Russian shoot down of a Korean Airliner). The only Democrat for whom I ever voted except Zell Miller.

I remember Newt personally telling us during the Clinton BJ and grand jury lying affair, as Speaker of the House, he’d hold him “personally, morally, ethically and Constitutionally accountable for his misdeeds”

Shortly after that ‘manila envelope’ was delivered to him that probably contained the photos of which you suggest that caused him to resign his speakership and eventually his position. He and “Callista” he never omits mentioning all the time never returned home to that Georgia home he so ‘valiantly and honorably’ served.

They are ALL hypocritical, duplicitous, lying sleazebags, IMO.

Ding ding ding, we have a winner.

Well of course there is only one "messiah" and He's not gonna be on the ballot.

What we are faced with is a choice of two fallible human beings, and when I evaluate them based on their track record of supporting conservative principles, Cruz is the hands down winner.

I don't "savage" anyone who supports Trump, I just do not agree with them.

There is room for honest and intelligent disagreement in the choice between the two. You may not “savage” those who disagree with your choice there are plenty who question the Christianity, intelligence, sanity and conservatism of those who disagree about Ted’s “no brainer” status. The use of the phrase “no brainer” implies that all disagreement will be devalued. (Words have meaning.)

“If Trump has been such a loyal Liberal, what are the liberals I know so enraged by him? They hate both Trump and Cruz.”

The simple answer.

Since the democRat nomination is a lock for Her Thighness (Sanders will never get the nod), it is quite easy for them to cross over in the Primary to ensure that the most easily defeated Republican is certain to get the nomination.

They did this in 2008 (McCain) and again in 2012 (Romney).

The Media is behind this effort and it is as obvious as can be.

Just keep in mind that the GOP Establishment worked in concert with the democRats during the Mississippi Republican Primary to ensure that Thad Cochran was able to win that runoff over a real Constitutional Conservative.

Or, have you forgotten about that?

Trump is no conservative at all.

I’m with you. Trump is insurance that a real Constitutional Conservative will NOT get the GOP nomination.

Those who support Trump are oblivious to the fact that Trump will lose in November as well he should.

True enough. There is no line of separation at all between the two.

Fine.

If that’s what you find to be acceptable, then go for it.

Personally, I find that kind of indicative of a complete and total lack of principles.

For me, I place God, Family and our Constitution at the top of my priorities list and will only support a candidate who has those same priorities.

Country before Party.

It’s painfully obvious that you know nothing of Ted Cruz and choose not to.
