Poll: Trump soars to nearly 50 percent in Florida (January Poll Results)

Donald Trump has the support of nearly 1-in-2 Republican primary voters in Florida according to a new Florida Atlantic University Poll out Wednesday.

Trump is leading in the state with GOP primary voters by a significant, 32-point margin, with 48 percent. His nearest rival is Texas Sen. Ted Cruz at 16 percent, and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush are the only others in double digits, with 11 percent and 10 percent, respectively.

Trump’s lead in that survey has been on a rapid rise since September 2015, when he came in at 32 percent, and support for Rubio and Bush in their home state has gradually declined over the course of the past four months. In that September poll Cruz was at 6 percent, Rubio was at 19 percent and Bush held 11 percent of the vote of those surveyed. In November, Trump took 36 percent, followed by Rubio with 18 percent and retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson with 15 percent, who has dropped to 3 percent in the latest poll.

And he has the same kind of figures in Mass. and N.Y. is also a BIG win for Trump.

But it really might be all over by mid-April, when N.Y.'s primary is held.

Whyever not?

It has been expected that Trump would take Florida months ago.

He's also pretty close ( within the margin of error) to Cruz in the Texas primary.

So you think Trump is lower today than 30 days ago?

I don’t.

Megyn looked so gorgeous before she got into that figurative car accident against Trump.

I agree. Rubio is seriously injured if he can't carry his home state. These numbers could coronate Donald Trump

What gives me cause for concern is what O is doing, having his little “Justice” Dept trying to bully the states, forcing them to accept votes from ILLEGALS. It’s beyond insane.

See FR thread entitled: The Obama Administration Wants to Make Sure Non-Citizens Vote in the Upcoming Election

Here in NW FL, most everyone voted for Rubio when he ran for Senate.

I know of NO ONE who even speaks his name now.
He is exposed for the fake, phony, fraud that he is.
He knows it too, that’s why he isn’t even running for re election to the Senate at the same time. He knows he’d be soundly defeated. And rightfully so. Major lapdog for the GOPe.
