Three of the four you noted are most decidedly imperfect. The best of that group is Cruz. With Hitlery and Sanders you get anti-American communism and with Trump you get soft leftism. Cruz is the only choice for any principled conservative there.

I agree!! Cruz or LOSE!

Absolutely correct.

While Sen. Cruz is not perfect (who is?) he is far above Donald Trump.

Hildie and (yourgonnaget) Burnied are unfit to sweep the sidewalk in front of Sen. Cruz's house.

What if Rubio comes in a strong #2 in SC?

“No amount of research nor exposure will change that reality”

Well, it might be Rubio instead of Cruz

In the engineering community we have a saying: “The one who most wants the leadership job is the one who is least qualified.” If that doesn’t speak to all four, then what does. In the event of a worthless president we’ll need a better Congress. And, definitely, a 5-4 conservative majority on the SCOTUS.

I would not write off Rubio, Kaisich or Bush yet. There will be a GOPe candidate hanging in until the end.

I'm praying for all three to stay in for six more weeks. I would prefer Cruz by a huge margin over any RINO, and I would also prefer Trump, although not by as much. As long as the RINOs are split, the establishment is stuck.

“obama promised change, and we thought he HAD accomplished his goal, but in fact, he hasn’t “changed” a thing”
______________________________

Actually, I think a lot has changed and not for the better. Look how much lower our standards for President are today vs, say, the 1980s:

An old socialist/communist who would have never been considered a serious candidate as recently as the early 2000s.

A former first lady whose husband as president was impeached but later celebrated like a rock star despite multiple accusations of rape and sexual assault. The candidate herself is a serial liar who, if we had an honest administration, would be in prison already for mishandling classified information and endangering our national security.

A business man who uses politically correct language but who is blasted by “journalists” and punditry alike for merely wanting the government to enforce EXISTING immigration laws.

A junior senator from Texas who assumed office barely 3 years ago.

Listen, of the 4 choices, I guess I could live with either Cruz or Trump, but seriously, is this the best our country has to offer? Isn’t it a sign of how far our country has fallen in the last 25 years that these 4 people are the leading candidates today?

I agree somewhat with your sentiments regarding Trump, However, I honestly believe Trumps actually loves America and wants to do what is right for the American People and to hell with the cronyism of K street and Wall street. Now Cruz is my guy, But I like Trump

I cannot say that about the two quislings on the other side.

1.We’re dead.or
2.Out of ammo and still surrounded by hostiles.

Absolutely correct.

Absolutely wrong, and that is why cruz is falling in the poles. He will not even beat rubio.

obama promised change, and we thought he HAD accomplished his goal, but in fact, he hasn't "changed" a thing

Completely disagree, Obama has gotten everything he wanted and then some.

He has succeeded in fundamentally transforming this country just as he promised, and with ease that is incomprehensible to me.

I believe the machinery has been put in motion and it is unstoppable

If that were true, it would be Bush vs Hill right now.

Luckily we have the possibility of Trump or Cruz.

Just sayin FRiend, with all due respect.

PS..If I am misinterpreting your meaning of the machinery is already in place, my apologies.

“Cruz is the only choice for any confused conservative there.”

And after two failures to launch, it would be nice to have someone who can actually win ... like Trump.
Cruz would be #3. He’s too much like the current lemon in the WH.

Rubio is still a possibility if Jeb and Kasich get out soon.

Biden is still a possibility if Hillary has a major medical or legal episode.

Bloomberg or some other leftist "savior" might come in if it looks like Sanders is beating Hillary.

There are still interesting times ahead.

You also have to remember with regard to Trump and Cruz there are four positions on FR:

1. Trump is the only candidate I will vote for
2. Cruz is the only candidate I will vote for
3. I will gladly (or resignedly) vote for either
4. I will vote for neither.

I am currently in group 3.

Well one of the four you listed is a solid conservative. I would love for Ted Cruz to become President. I can’t say that for the other three losers
