Yeh I think the Cruzers will get over it just like the Newters (me included) got over it in 2012. If your guy isn’t making it he isn’t making it.
Personally I think Trump is going to make a lot of Cruzers happy when its all said and done. He’s going to turn out not to be the big Lib they have worked themselves up to believe. Just like Ted is not quite the big Conservative they all want to believe in.

Trump has barely scratched the surface in trying to sell himself. He has been on the attack mode against some previously iconic targets. Wait until the human interest glamorization, etc., TV utilization begins in earnest, before you judge his saleability.

So did Mitch McConnell, in 2013 Mitch had a 100 percent right to life score, an ‘A’ from the NRA, a perfect 100 percent from the American Conservative Union, and he’s given the conservatice high marks as the one man primarily responsible for uniting Senate Republicans against Obamacare.
And? I hate Mitch McConnell, that Republican establishment operative of cheap labor and amnesty.

During the first “debate”, they asked the candidates to hold up their hand if they would support whoever is nominated...
They all did, except Trump...
They ALL, just like little school children being asked a question by an authority figure...
Trump didn’t because not only was Trump bing honest about his decision, he also thought what a stupid, childish question it was for a so-called “debate”....
He is NOT a smarmy professional politician who checks to see which way the wind blows....
Bernie Sander thinks he’s going to make America great again too. Neither Trump’s vision nor Bernie Sander’s vision for America fit the definition of American exceptionalism. And I doubt either one even knows what it means.
I’m all in. And I’m glad the GOPe hate him. Mean he must be doing something right. Is he perfect? No. But then neither am I.

Rush was saying this week that Ted Cruz “is the closest in our lifetimes we have ever been to Ronald Reagan.”.......but I would expect today if Reagan was running the Trump fans would still be following Trump. He’s also managed to pick up the Obamanites who will always follow whatever glitters like gold.
