Changing one’s mind does not detract from the fact that Trump did indeed say what he said. And as I pointed out already, Trump has yet to voice any support for a ban on partial-birth abortion, which was the point of the original question. So considering that, Trump’s position has not changed at all. He was against a ban then. Has he issued a statement saying he supports one now?

If you think it's true post a quote.

Here's Donald Trump on 60 Minutes less than five months ago:

Scott Pelley: What's your plan for Obamacare?

Donald Trump: Obamacare's going to be repealed and replaced. Obamacare is a disaster if you look at what's going on with premiums where they're up 45, 50, 55 percent.

Scott Pelley: How do you fix it?

Donald Trump: There's many different ways, by the way. Everybody's got to be covered. This is an un-Republican thing for me to say because a lot of times they say, "No, no, the lower 25 percent that can't afford private." But--

Scott Pelley: Universal health care?

Donald Trump: I am going to take care of everybody. I don't care if it costs me votes or not. Everybody's going to be taken care of much better than they're taken care of now.

Scott Pelley: The uninsured person is going to be taken care of how?

Donald Trump: They're going to be taken care of. I would make a deal with existing hospitals to take care of people. And, you know what, if this is probably--

Scott Pelley: Make a deal? Who pays for it?

Donald Trump: --the government's gonna pay for it. But we're going to save so much money on the other side.

Trump stated he was against partial birth abortions in 2000;

“When Tim Russert asked me on Meet the Press if I would ban partial-birth abortion if I were president, my pro-choice instincts led me to say no. After the show, I consulted two doctors I respect and, upon learning more about this procedure, I have concluded that I would indeed support a ban.”

T Sowell detailed this 30 years ago in his great book "Visions of the Anointed"

That is an AWESOME book!

“But Trump said in his book, The America We Deserve, which was published in 2000, that he was wrong to say he supported late-term abortion. After he talked with doctors, he wrote, he would indeed support a ban on the procedure.”

This was leto’s comment; “Trump has said he wants health care for everybody paid for by the government”

What you posted shows he’s talking about the 25% the uninsured person not “everybody”.

Check this out.

Trump stated he was against partial birth abortions in 2000

This is true. He even went as far as to say that he would support a ban on partial-birth abortion. Such a ban made it's way through Congress three years later. Did Trump support it?

From the debate transcript you apparently don’t want to read or comprehend.

“Mr. Trump, ObamaCare is one of the things you call a disaster.
TRUMP: A complete disaster, yes.
BAIER: Saying it needs to be repealed and replaced.
TRUMP: Correct.
BAIER: Now, 15 years ago, uncalled yourself a liberal on health care. You were for a single-payer system, a Canadian-style system.
Why were you for that then and why aren’t you for it now?

TRUMP: As far as single payer, it works in Canada. It works incredibly well in Scotland. It could have worked in a different age, which is the age you’re talking about here.
What I’d like to see is a private system without the artificial lines around every state. I have a big company with thousands and thousands of employees. And if I’m negotiating in New York or in New Jersey or in California, I have like one bidder. Nobody can bid. You know why? Because the insurance companies are making a fortune because they have control of the politicians, of course, with the exception of the politicians on this stage. But they have total control of the politicians. They’re making a fortune. Get rid of the artificial lines and you will have yourself great plans. And then we have to take care of the people that can’t take care of themselves. And I will do that through a different system.”

I've read that many times. I have even posted it. Because it clearly illustrates Trump's praise of single-payer.

Here's a newsflash for you. Single-payer does not work in Canada or Scotland. Monopolies provide poorer service at higher cost than a fully competitive market. From Trump's words, he is trying to have it both ways. Yet these two ways are polar opposites.

Contrary to the BS that Trump is spouting, government doesn't give us more choices. A free market does. And it does so purely at the demand of the consumer - not because government tells them to do it. So anyone telling you that single payer works well is an enemy of the free market.

Just too much smoke not to be any fire.

If Donald wins, I hope he chooses Newt- or West (although I don’t think West has a chance of being chosen. He’s just not PC enough, tells the truth about Islam..takes no BS.

Cruz said Trump supported partial birth abortion. That is not a lie. Here is the proof:

http://www.nbcnews.com/meet-the-press/video/trump-in-1999-i-am-very-pro-choice-480297539914

If Trump now says he opposes partial-birth abortion, that’s good for him, but that in no way contradicts what Cruz said; Cruz clearly enunciated the past tense.

RUSSERT: Partial-birth abortion — the eliminating of abortion in the third trimester. Big issue in Washington. Would President Trump ban partial-birth abortion?

TRUMP: Well, look. I’m very pro-choice. I hate the concept of abortion. I hate it, I hate everything it stands for. I cringe when I hear people debating the subject. But you still — I just believe in choice. And again, it may be a little bit of a New York background, because there is some different attitude in different parts of the country, and I was raised in New York, grew up and worked and everything else in New York City. But I am strongly for choice, and yet I hate the concept of abortion.

RUSSERT: But you would not ban it.

TRUMP: No.

RUSSERT: Or ban partial-birth abortion.

TRUMP: No.

Really? And supporters of Trump are intellectually honest and are supporting a man who has been a conservative all his life (SIC, SIC, SIC). The man has given money to Democrats all of his life and been a Democrat for much of his life. He gets up — says some things and you believe. And now the Trump cult is in full swing.

So Trump has been a supporter of partial-birth abortion, essentially infanticide. Shame on Trump and shame on his supporters for supporting a man like him. He says he’s pro-life now — and his supporters believe him. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen such unwise voters — other than Obama supporters — in my entire life.

Here’s your man, Trump, what do you think — giving his support to Obama’s apology tour.

TRUMP [on the Larry King Show (2009), referring to the then newly elected communist president (Obama)]: “Well, I really like him. I think that he’s working very hard. He’s trying to rebuild our reputation throughout the world. I mean, we really have lost a lot of reputation in the world. The previous administration [GW Bush] was a total disaster, a total catastrophe.”

ONLY AN IMBECILE AND I MEAN AN IMBECILE COULD HAVE BEEN SUPPORTING OBAMA IN 2009. That’s your man, Trump. He’s beyond a serial adulterer and strip club owner. He’s an imbecile.

Contrary to the BS that Trump is spouting, government doesn't give us more choices. A free market does. And it does so purely at the demand of the consumer - not because government tells them to do it. So anyone telling you that single payer works well is an enemy of the free market.

Hood, why are you still going on about Single Payer when TRump says in this quote that it would not work for us.

It could have worked in a different age, which is the age you're talking about here.
This sentence means Trump thinks single payer would have worked 15 years ago before the Obamacare fiasco but not now.

What I'd like to see is a private system without the artificial lines around every state.
This sentence means Trump is proposing private insurance as we had before Obamacare but he would remove the artificial boundaries between stated so that any individual could choose from approximately 160 insurers in competition in the free market which would drastically reduce costs for all of us.
I have a big company with thousands and thousands of employees. And if I'm negotiating in New York or in New Jersey or in California, I have like one bidder. Nobody can bid. You know why? Because the insurance companies are making a fortune because they have control of the politicians, of course, with the exception of the politicians on this stage. But they have total control of the politicians. They're making a fortune. Get rid of the artificial lines and you will have yourself great plans.

This is Trump expounding on the previous sentence.

And then we have to take care of the people that can't take care of themselves. And I will do that through a different system.
This is mentioning that Trump will take care of indigents to keep them from dying on the streets.
