Why were you for that then and why aren’t you for it now?

What I’d like to see is a private system without the artificial lines around every state. I have a big company with thousands and thousands of employees. Here's a newsflash for you. Single-payer does not work in Canada or Scotland. Monopolies provide poorer service at higher cost than a fully competitive market. From Trump's words, he is trying to have it both ways. Yet these two ways are polar opposites.
Contrary to the BS that Trump is spouting, government doesn't give us more choices. A free market does. And it does so purely at the demand of the consumer - not because government tells them to do it. So anyone telling you that single payer works well is an enemy of the free market.
