Imagine what it’d do to his country! The lives of his children and grandchildren.

Speaking of Huck, has he endorsed anyone yet?

If he did, I missed it.

Everyone in New York and surrounding tends to use Jewish/Yiddish words for certain things. It’s a regional thing because there are a lot of Jewish people so everyone learns them. They are great words because they tend to sound like what they mean.

“Imagine what it would do to his country! The lives of his children and grandchildren.”

Definitely! That goes without saying. The last thing he wants to see is his granddaughters living under Sharia law, which is worming its way in to the country even as we speak.

Yes David is a social conservative first and foremost.

He seems to be a little panicked about Trump lately and it wouldn’t surprise me if he is the instigator behind Rush taking the tact he has lately.

Agree. It is a general undermining of the concept of conservatism across the board, because conservatism has become associated with an intellectual only, do-nothing, sit-in-the-Players-Club, exchange e-mails with Jonah Goldberg 19th century ideology that has no relevance for ordinary people.

I’m not saying that’s what it is, but I’m saying that increasingly that’s what the GOPe has made it, so to constantly pound the table and scream “Cruz is a conservative,” well, that doesn’t go far. And it’s not because conservative ideas are bad, but because in the last decade, no one has actually seen a conservative idea put into practice.

Exactly. Insurance is insurance and should not be county specific.

Portability is a non issue.

Absolutely he has great creds . . . except for one thing. In the Senate, who has he led? What has he done to show he can lead a rebellion? Who has followed him?

He got Mike Lee on two occasions to stand with him. That’s just not sufficient. A LEADER finds a way to bribe, cajole, promise, trade, intimidate, do what it takes to get a result. For whatever reason, Cruz hasn’t been able to do that. He couldn’t even get genuine conservatives like Sessions or so-called conservatives like Paul or Ernst or Johanns or Tim Scott to stand with him on anything. Yeah, they “endorse” him now-—but when it counted, did they stand with him?

Here is what really sent me over the edge. I heard Mark Steyn subbing on Rush talking about when he gave testimony to Cruz’s “global warming” committee. Now, here is a chance to REALLY blow up a major leftist issue. Cruz is in charge of the committee.

So how many Republicans did Cruz get to attend Steyn’s hearing?

Zero. I found that shocking, and especially telling about Cruz’s ability to accomplish anything. If you, as committee chairman, can’t get YOUR OWN PARTY to buy in to this position and support you, how exactly are you going to rally the American people?

Trump said when interviewed by Cavuto that the right political person might be a good balance to his business background as a VP.

He spoke highly of Christy ( They have been friends for years) but said nothing of Carley
He said some of the people running with him he liked others not so much. He did say we have had enough Bushes in WH
