Everyone in New York and surrounding tends to use Jewish/Yiddish words for certain things. It’s a regional thing because there are a lot of Jewish people so everyone learns them. They are great words because they tend to sound like what they mean.
I have no idea what some of the Italian words/terms I know mean, but I know how to use them. LOL
