Probably true. I was raised in a Democrat family, now all but one are hardcore conservative Republicans. I am happy to say that my children are as well.

i agree with your approach. i strive to teach my kids Right from wrong. God’s Way vs man.

but they get constant badgering from their kid friends (obviously indoctrinated with their parent’s leftist views because no kid would worry about any of this unless their parents we’re goading them) saying dad, you just can’t vote for a rep, my friends will all have to leave the country, and so on.

and from reps, i get the opposite, you’ve got to vote gop no matter what, or the country is ruined, and so on and so on.

frankly, all i see are both political parties (with certain rare exceptions) cooperating to ruin the country faster than either one could do it by themselves.

When my daughter was 15 she asked if she could go to a concert and after asking about the details I gave her permission. She said it was $75....i asked if she had $75 and she said yes, then asked if I would pay for it or contribute. I said no and her desire to go dissapated quickly. I asked her: you want to go if I pay for it, but you don't want to spend your own money on it? She laughed a bit and conceded that was her position. I said there a name for people like that.
