Yes it was. And he followed it with the “like a child molester” comment.

Yeah. What's up with that?

Why does Calgary Cruz make such classless comments?

Trump will explain how ED is necessary for the Keystone Pipeline if there is to be a KS pipeline.

Given the size of the hole in North Dakota's budget absent Keystone, its a conversation worth having.

Yes, Kasich was forgotten about. Was it Chris Christie who said: “Where’s Kasich?” and then to the broadcasters: “Can I introduce Kasich?”

so your point is that Trump won’t kick a man when he’s down?

There's a bunch of canuck cruzers on the thread who are losing it, and spraying spittle everywhere.

They're as classless as the Manitoba Marionette.

Yes, the Weekend Update segment even had the video clips of the awkward introductions from the earlier debate to make it seem like the candidates were doing all this on their own and not due to a flubbed introduction by the moderators. I wonder if they would have been as quick on the draw if it happened during a Saturday night Democrat debate.

Also, Bernie Sanders was featured last night. I have to say that Sanders' appearance on SNL was even better than Trump's. They had this skit where Sanders wouldn't shake the hand of a black woman supporter because she coughed into her hand before offering it for handshake. Bernie said "I'm not shaking a hand infested with germs." Then another supporter gets into a car accident on her way to vote for him in New Hampshire. He refused to pop her shoulder back in place, saying "I'm not a doctor." He ends up losing five votes this way and sure enough, he loses New Hampshire by exactly five votes and at the end of the skit, the five voters he dissed are all featured holding Shrillary signs on the news coverage.

I was kind of surprised Bernie would sign on to such a skit but it was definitely funny. I wonder if they had originally written it for Trump (being that he has a phobia about shaking hands).

what I noticed was it was names called by Martha that had trouble hearing ( I suppose) her tone over the applause.

Just as with during debate applause and it overriding what candidates are saying, I think debates and such events should hold all applause until all folks are introduced and then hold all applause until the end.

Any time I watch these sorts of events the applause is annoying, and or the discussion of why so and so got more applause then this other one. It’s most times staged and such so it’s truly of no real value in these settings.

It also showed the poor handling of the ABC people:
It seemed like they deliberately kept Carson out
of the discussion by not asking him many questions!

Trump stood there because he wanted to be the last, and get the most applause, not realizing, of course, Kasich had been forgotten.

How was Fox spinning it? Or did they acknowledge Trump’s class.

Maybe the point was that everyone else was willing to ignore someone when they were down...except one.

Though I will not vote for Trump for anything, I agree with this article.

I saw Trump show himself as he is, while I saw jeb! show himself, shallow as he is.

...

Like his shallow “tippy toes” stunt.

I’m not sure if Trump missed his first cue or not, but either way he was classy in his dealings with Carson — first with the comforting touch, then by refusing to exit when Carson finally did.

ABC handled this very poorly — someone should have been in charge of sending the candidates onstage, and the people calling out the names shouldn’t have kept going like that, much less try to pile Trump on top of Carson at the end and deny Carson entrance applause because of their screw up. I’ve worked backstage with amateur productions that did a better job.

I suspect ABC would have done better by the candidates had the candidates been Democrats. Certainly if it were the Democratic debate, the newspapers would recognize the screw up was that of the guys running the thing and not blame the candidates.

Carson wasn’t listening and missed his cue.

Trump was a stand up guy for standing by Carson.

Good friend?

Trump took a baseball bat to Carson before defending him

Welcome back. There's a box of tissue backstage.
