Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said Friday that he would support women in military combat roles, but would follow that advice from his military advisers "because I would want to hear that without a political bent."
"The answer is yes because they're really into it," the billionaire businessman told Chris Cuomo on CNN. "And some of them are really, really good at it.
"I would really speak to the generals, because I would want to hear that without a political bent," Trump cautioned. "To the public, they say, 'yes, yes, yes,' but I would want to hear it without the political bent."

you said humping the bush I’ll agree with you there no arguments,, but there are other considered front line duties that women can fill easily.. like weather officers on combat ships.. electronic engineer officers on planes and ships ect ect.. in combat areas... some of the very best tank commanders the Russians had in WW2 were women.. they were as good as the men
Women in ancillary and covert or Intel roles OK. It does me good to walk the streets of Ir Kodesh and see the IDF girls with their M4 Carbines. But please remember, Israel is surrounded by enemies: under siege. These girls are defending their homeland, from a real time existential threat. THAT is the proper context for women in combat. A nation that cannot field enough men to fight its foreign wars is not worthy of winning them. The tragedy of America is that even our leaders have gone under the yoke of wussification and are too scared to even talk like real men in a presidential debate.

Read other threads and posts by Freeper vets about having women doing certain jobs. Come to think of it,
the Pentagon and each branch has to set a minimum requirement for each MOS just as the civilian business world does to PREVENT INJURY and meet safety standards.
Face it, within the platoon the largest guy carries the SAW. And hey, there are field artillery and tank jobs women just cannot be assigned.

Fighting a war is life or death. If women are not physically capable they will be killed. Women would have to meet the standard or they will be killed in combat. They would also place men in danger if women are not up to the physical standards required for combat. Many men would be killed. The generals have to be very careful about women in combat.

Sorry folks. A person is either a complete idiot, or a PC loving so and so to have an opinion like this. And probably a mix of both.
A woman should never be in combat arms. I’m not going thru the list of things why. From personal experience and from that of my brother, father, and my many Army brothers out there; just know that women in combat is beyond retardation.
There is nothing about it for women. Add I might send some out on ambush that night in the bush, too. Add a couple of LP’s 9listening posts) with two men each.

The title is a bit misleading. Trump would support women in combat positions if the Generals made that decision. Again, from the supposed loose cannon on the stage, a sensible answer which addresses the situation in a meaningful way.
