I agree that this was Bush’s best debate so far (and that’s not saying much), but he was bolstered by a stacked establishment crowd. We’ll have to see how hit plays in New Hampshire.
I prefer Cruz. But you do realize that somewhere less than 5% of likely voters have any inkling of what the “gang of eight” was much less what “comprehensive I migration reform” is. Crissy just looked like a thug bully yo them. Rubio should have hit him for waltzing around with Obama after Sandy.
Yup. CNN is right on this one. How pathetic that a so called shake up Washington Christian conservative is a bigger liar than CNN.
Cruz was pathetic in that answer - a long haughty tone when “apologizing” and a Clintonlike explanation.

The PC cop-out from Bush, Rubio and Christie about women in combat and making them register for a draft was pathetic. All three sounded exactly like a democrat. Made me sick to my stomach.
I think Trump also did well in specifying that (paraphrasal): “If you know what you are doing, you get the deal you want.”
OTOH, I think he could have, instead of going after Cruz directly at the end, said something like “People are tired of the same old politics, such as we’ve seen in the last few days with what happened to Dr. Carson. I am running for President because I do not accept a status quo where individual politicians may come out ahead, but the country goes to hell.”

It may not have been a smart idea for Cruz to drag CNN into his explanation. They probably do not like that and Carson immediately pointed out the timeline error. This is not over and then he drags it up in his closing. Backfire!
Until he specifically renounces his support of Kelo, he will not get my vote in the primary.

Is Cruz really as sound a conservative as we think he is, he is deeply connected to RINO institutions, or is he just a shrewd politician, focusing on the base.
Is Trump really as liberal as his past would indicate, or was that just business, and he really believes what he is saying.
