Donald Trump is blaming rival Ted Cruz - wrongly - for President Barack Obama's health care law.
Trump says Cruz is "the one that got Justice Roberts onto the United States Supreme Court. He pushed him, he approved him and Justice Roberts approved Obamacare twice when it should have been rejected."
Trump says, "Ted Cruz gave us Obamacare."
Cruz did indeed support John Roberts' nomination. But Roberts was confirmed in 2005, years before Cruz was elected to the Senate.
Cruz spokesman Rick Tyler says, "Trump's claim is ridiculous, especially considering that he has advocated and supported a single-payer health care system along with many other social liberal policies."

The Trumpster is imploding. Skin too thin to take even a scratch.
As I have said, many times, he HAD to run the table or has no other shot, execpt at his foot.
NH is a little nothing and should be easy for him and still if Trump doesn’t finish there on top by 30 points, he’s done. But Hey! he got Jimah’s endorsement.
>>>Trump voted for Obama twice , so Trump gave you Obamacare<<<
I’m a Cruz guy first, but I don’t defend him by spreading complete fabrications. Try again.
Either (1) you are ignorant of facts or (2) you are lying.
I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt and choose Door #1.
You’re welcome.
Sorry, you just don’t get it.
Everyone knows Roberts could have stopped Obamacare, but he didn’t. Trump links Cruz supporting Roberts (as most of us did, but we aren’t U.S. Senators) to saving Obamacare.
BINGO, that’s Politics. Most Voters aren’t Political Junkies like us, and like it or not it’s a simple equation.
Cruz + Roberts = Obamacare. It isn’t pretty, but it might be effective. If Cruz talks about it, he only prolongs his exposure tying him to Obamacare.
It’s a win-win for Trump even if we think it’s lame.
Politics is a Bitch and I’m beginning to think Trump knows more about Politics than many Politicians think they do.
Of course I could be wrong, but I doubt it.
LOL, who does Trump think is going to believe this?
Even the most low-info people know Cruz is and always has been 100% anti-ACA.
People who don’t even follow politics know this just from watching the news.
Cruz lie? Don't answer that
Debunked and you know that, you snarky sh!t.
I think that is just a cover.I think it is way deeper than that.

How can FReepers be upset with Roberts while supporting Trump? Trump has been to the Left of Roberts until he decided he out to run for office for a first time and become president.
Ted Cruz won his Senate bid in 2012 because the Democrats passed ObamaCare in the Dead of night in 2010.
Cruz was not even in the Senate until 2 years after ObamaCare was passed
I’m for Cruz & hadn’t even heard of him in 2005...
Cruz did indeed support John Roberts’ nomination. But Roberts was confirmed in 2005, years before Cruz was elected to the Senate.
No matter how you slice it, Cruz is partly responsible for letting the bastard get into the Supreme Court indirectly or directly.
You posted this item as originating at ABC News but that is yet another mistake.
This is an Associated Press story on the website of local station WTVD-TV Raleigh-Durham, NC.
Go Ted Cruz! Beat Hitlary!
Fact - Cruz spent a lot of effort to tout Roberts, who eventually tortured and twisted and rewrote Obama care to allow it to stand.
Super Twit
He’s mentally ill. I am beginning to think he has some serious health problems.
“s my Grandfather say: âWhat the hell does that have to do with the price of tea in Chinaâ?”
Those immigrant grandfathers can be so funny!! Mine wasn’t from China, like yours, but he also said funny things.
Actually mine was from Belgium....but yes they can be funny and extremely insightful.
People have forgotten that when the court ruled the whole world thought it would come down to how Justice Kennedy was feeling that morning. The betrayal by Roberts was an unexpected blow. He'll be held accountable for his own actions someday.
