Question for Discussion - Will Trump hit Rubio as hard as Cruz?
Theory: Trump is an errand boy for the international banking and globalist financier elite. He has been funded in the billions (and owes yuge amounts still) by George Soros, Deutsche Bank and many other manner of sundry globalist hedge funds and financial institutions that the Uniparty reports to.
As such, he is given the job of taking down Cruz.
But not Rubio, who proved with the Gang of Eight that he will make deals and play ball and is acceptable to the Uniparty and globalist interests.
A caller just asked Rush why he’s hit every other candidate other than Rubio...
I wish the Cruz/Trump war would stop. It’s just helping out the establishment.
Rubio have moved up.
Now they want to set up Kasich. Book that he’ll be the ‘4th horse in the race’ after N.H. They want Rubio/Kasich. Or vice versa. Win Ohio. Uniparty firmly in control.
He has touched on Gang of 8 in a couple of speeches. That will be ramped up now. Of course, he did make jokes about Rubio’s boots.
Rubio is polling 4th and Cruz fifth in NH. He ought to be going after Jeb instead.
Interesting.
I’d expect him to...compared to others, he hasn’t touched him...including nothing in the debates...
One theory I heard this morning: If Trump hits Rubio hard, and knocks him out or way down in NH, then Rubio won’t be considered “top 3” anymore. Trump NEEDS Rubio to still be top 3 in SC and in the southern states early in March, since Cruz is so strong and well-organized there. Trump needs it to be a 3-way race in SC and in the south, because he has a better chance in those states in a 3-way race than in another head-to-head against Cruz like Iowa.
Tin foil hat?
conspiracy theories?
Trump owes 430 million dollars on 8 Billion worth of assets
Not a bad ratio by any means
I did not know that George Soros was in the mortgage business. I thought he was currency trader
His Tower in Manhattan is valued at 480 million.....
If Trump is owned by the establishment, why are they always trying to take him out?
Trump started it and moreover would not stop.
Cruz took so much incoming from Trump prior to the ‘Mainiac’
twitter post that Cruz started to look weak.
When Cruz very mildly tried to defend himself, freepers could point that flashdance was an evil movie for Cruz to be associated with.
I guarantee you that if Trump were to stick with the issues, any attacks from Cruz would stop in a week.
Disclosure : Cruz #1 Trump #2. Want to see the war to stop so Rubes does not benefit.
Because Rush knows Rubio can win the election. Is that so hard to understand. I don’t think so.
Trump and Cruz are going to eat each other and hand the nomination to âthe third wayâ Rubio.
Are you whining?
Cruz beat Trump, Rubio didn’t. So as long as Trump speaks the truth and so far he is then he will go for Cruz but won’t leave Rubio alone.
The question is will he go full-bore birther on Rubio like he did with Cruz?
Why do you expect Trump to do Ted’s work too?
Cruz drafted behind Trump 90% of the race early on.
It’s time for Cruz to get his Christian hands dirty too.
Do you mean, will Trump hit Rubio as hard as Cruz hit Rubio, or do you mean, will Trump hit Rubio as hard as Trump hit Cruz?
Answer to both: Trump’s shtick is to counterpunch. If Rubio takes the first shot, Trump will lay into him. It’s what he does. Just ask Geico. The force of Trump’s blows will probably depend on Rubio’s persistence.
Rush said that Trump will begin attacking Rubio harder now. That’s what Rush said. I was thinking that Trump was considering Rubio as veep material...
Where have you been? It is simply false to say Trump has not gone after Rubio. In fact, it is only recently that Trump went after Cruz. For months they had a bromance where they refused to attack one another.
Nov 10, 2015--Trump rips Rubio on immigration hours before next debate
Donald Trump focused his trademark social media fury on Marco Rubio on Monday night, launching a volley of critical tweets at the Florida senator on his immigration record as well as a few insults, saying he "chokes" under pressure. The focus on Rubio offers a potential preview of Trump's strategy for the fourth Republican presidential debate Tuesday night. "Marco Rubio is a total lightweight who I wouldn't hire to run one of my smaller companies -- a highly overrated politician!" Trump tweeted.
Trump followed that tweet with criticism of how Rubio delivered the Republican response to Obama's State of the Union address in 2013.
"Marco Rubio couldn't even respond properly to President Obama's State of the Union Speech without pouring sweat & chugging water. He choked!"
<He combined both messages in his final tweet of the evening on the subject: "Marco Rubio is totally weak on illegal immigration & in favor of easy amnesty. A lightweight choker -- bad for #USA!"
The twitter attack matched Trump's language earlier in the day at a packed campaign rally in Illinois.
At the event, the business mogul said of Rubio, "I look at a guy like Rubio, who's very, very weak on illegal immigration. He was a member of the Gang of eight -- that meant 'come in.'"
