Donald Trump implodes campaign by being a sore loser
The Washington Examiner ^ | 2/3/2016 | Philip Klein

Nobody likes a sore loser, and by adopting that role on Wednesday morning in charging that Sen. Ted Cruz "stole" Iowa, Donald Trump has effectively imploded his campaign.

Yes, I know. Pundits have been saying for months that one Trump comment or another would sink him, only to be proven wrong. But here's why this is different.

Every other time Trump said something controversial, or insulted an opponent, he was doing so from a position of strength. He looked like the alpha male toying with his pathetic oppnents. His whole brand is based on the idea that he's a "winner" - being not just a loser, but a "sore loser," is greatly damaging.

In this case, Cruz pulled off an impressive win in Iowa. Trump validated that win by giving a gracious - for him - concession speech, even congratulating Cruz. But now, he has unleashed a temper tantrum.

It was a real life demonstration of serenity now, insanity later.

Yup. A man-child in an expensive Italian suit.

The whole Trump brand is about winning.

A lot of people are looking at Trump in a different light and they don’t like what they see.

Donald Trump has effectively imploded his campaign.

Let's hope. The sooner, the better.

People complain that no one candidate speaks up when any hint of voter fraud is committed.

Okay, how could this be voter fraud? Were Cruz supporters voting multiple times? Were they voting as dead people? Did they hold a gun to someone and make them change their vote???

They passed on a report that was on the television and on twitter and asked Carson supporters to support them instead. Not even close to fraud.

Point well taken.....look at the revenue these caucus’s bring to Iowa and New Hampshire....I do think and hope there are more honest people than there are disingenuous in both states. It amazes me that anyone would tell the media who they are leaning towards or voting for....I wouldn’t tell them anything.

For Trump though, it is a big deal because the polls said he would win big.

Voters weren’t inclined to follow the script and now he’s calling them stupid.

Whatta jerk.

Trump is proving to be the biggest joke ever to run for President.

That anyone on FR can’t see thru this leftist phony, is a real puzzle and disappointment.

I did not realize Trump is a germaphobe. Can you imagine a president who rarely shakes hands?

Yes I agree all of this unsavory outburst and refusal to accept defeat could be interesting as POTUS. We will need one tough cookie to fight hard and deal hard in regards to all of the treasonists. Imagine him dealing with the WH press Corp or Mexico and The Muslim Brotherhood....

"Were Cruz supporters voting multiple times? Were they voting as dead people? Did they hold a gun to someone and make them change their vote???"

Trump just didn't think of it first and if he had his excuse would have been: "Don't take it personal, it is just business and I am a businessman."

I believe you are right, I think too the air is already leaking fast.

self inflicted and too prideful to take any advice from those around him, they wouldn't dare, but they should be by now seeing his insanity.

While this article was being posted, Drudge is prominently displaying a link to a poll conducted AFTER the Iowa caucuses showing Trump at +24 in New Hampshire.

That is a 3-day tracking poll, and only one of the three days is after Iowa. We will have to wait for Friday for all three days to be after Iowa. And even that poll with one day after Iowa shows Cruz gaining 2 points and Rubio gaining 4 points while Trump is static.

Well, I’m afraid that Cruz did steal Iowa. Vote cheating, lies, and vote buying. Support of all the left-wing media. A large corps of paid professional liars. He talks like a Tea Party conservative, but he sure doesn’t act like one.
