Well, first you would have to show that any damage occurred. The polls of people going into the caucuses showed that 9% of the people planned on voting for Carson. At the end of the night, 9% of the people had voted for Carson. Unless you could show that a sufficient number of people had changed their vote based on this news report to have affected the order in which the candidates finished, you have no damage.
You only need 4 per precinct to bring about a change in finish. Less than that to bring about a delegate reapportionment.
And yet there is no evidence that such a change occurred.
Yes. Cruz apologized.
I can think of no way to recapture those people at that event.
The best thing is a statement by the RNC that there could have been irregularities.
What irregularities? Cruz supporters shared information with Carson supporters. Either the Carson supporters believed them, ignored them, or independently verified the information. They were not sequestered with no access to information. I could walk into a caucus and say Trump had just been arrested for pedophilia. Now he could sue me for slander, but that is not an election violation. No one is required to believe me, and they have the time and ability to check out my claim if they choose. So sharing a story that they believed to be true and was on the news would not be considered an "irregularity".
If there were no irregularities, then why did he apologize?
Oh noez, he’s imploding again.
The crafty, smart, ADDH Trump wants an excuse to drop out. He has had his entertainment and now wants to focus on something else.
