Part of the problem could be the conundrum created by rigid stereotyping (your own tag is an example of this).

People, in spite of themselves, don’t want Grinchlike rock-ribs. And so they strike a muddy compromise.

Relentless they are.

You don't think your candidate who cloaks himself in piety shouldn't be held accountable for an illegal mailer and running a scam on Carson voters?

Memphis (West TN) and Nashville (middle TN) are absolutely swarming with moonbats, although Nashville has a few decent suburbs (Brentwood is spectacular). I guess Germantown in Memphis is pretty decent, as well. Knoxville and Chattanooga (eastern TN) have a lot of moonbats because of their UT campuses, but are surprisingly conservative for cities of their size. The rest of TN (Tri-Cities and rural areas especially) is very conservative, to the point that we don’t put up with liberals here.

If Trump, he attempted to do a forced purchase. At a figure that she later was unable to approach.

The ugly truth of our modern situation is that nobody actually owns real estate, except Caesar. Everyone else only gets an investment in it.

The question is - can he convince the voters everyone has dropped out when they haven't.

Are you worried that Trump is about to drop you from the payroll?

Is Tenn proportional or winner take all?

They’ve heard enough about Jesus in church that they get an idea that people ought to be generous. But they don’t quite see how, except through human socialist schemes.

We need to loosen the stranglehold of Caesar — the small-L libertarians have something, at least, along those lines. Even if it looks like the pot smokers are wanting to lead the parade.

I like to vote on election day too. I live out in the boonies so two people in line is about it. Also the early voting locations are only open when I'm working!

Go ahead and explain that to the good folks in New Hampshire and see what they think about it. I somehow doubt they’re as blase about it as you are - you know, “Live Free or Die” and all that.

It’s simple, just ask them what their “Live Free Or Die” government actually does when they stop paying their real estate taxes.

As a natural-born Tennessean, I would like to apologize to the U.S. for giving you Al Gore, Lamar Alexander, and Bob Corker. At least we stopped Gore from becoming President.

But we also gave you Fred Thompson!

If he hadn't lied about Dr. Carson, he might not have won.

Keep telling yourself that, if it makes you feel better about Trump's loss. And ignore the fact that what the entrance polls showed Carson getting and what he actually got were exactly the same...

By the way, it was CNN that had the story wrong, so if anyone lied it was them. Cruz's campaign just repeated what they heard.

I don’t think people object to tax lien sales - pay ‘em and you never have to worry about it. When it’s an orange-skinned developer wanting it to build a limo parking lot for a strip club, though...well, that may chap their ass.

You’ve obviously never seen Lamar angry if you think that Tennesseeans don’t want “Grinchlike rock-ribs”. Those are the types of people who get into politics, Reagan was the rare exception in that regard. (Clinton was also someone who was frequently cheerful, although I suspect that’s because of the sadistic pleasure he got from violating women.)

And my tagline is just a simple statement of fact. Anyone who interprets it as saying that conservatives always live up to Christ’s standards is grossly mistaken.

We’re in a rural area, too, and there usually isn’t a long line. Though there was two years ago now that I think about it. Lots of local elections as well as the House and Senate elections and the ballot was looooong. Most people hadn’t looked at it beforehand (online) and were dazed and confused. I’d checked it out so was able to whip through it quickly.

Voting on election day has always made it seem bit more special. :-)

West Tn resident here too. A local radio host is getting alot of heat from trumpsters for just airing Trump’s words promoting liberalism. I’m getting amused by their responses!

Local charities (with voluntary contributions) have long been the answer in this regard. We have several good ones in my region. We’re willing to help the unfortunate, but we want control of our money and want to help those who can actually be helped. And given that government can’t help but mindlessly give out welfare, government will never be the solution.

I’ve never liked the libertarian label, given that it seems to be used almost exclusively by determined secularists, but I admire a lot of anarcho-capitalists who recognize that Rothbardian doctrine should be subservient to Scripture. Gary North in particular is a good example.
