Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh said Tuesday that Donald Trump lost the Iowa caucus because his criticism of Ted Cruz made him sound "like a liberal Democrat."
"I don't think Trump skipping the debate had a thing to do with what happened last night," began Limbaugh. "This is a Republican primary. It's Iowa. Conservatives win in Iowa."
"Donald Trump, I don't know if you forgot - one thing that everyone remembers - he went out and tried to criticize Ted Cruz," explained the talk-show host.
"Ted Cruz isn't the enemy," he continued. "Hillary Clinton is the enemy. Ted Cruz is not a nasty guy. Ted Cruz is not a Canadian."
"Nobody is going to believe that, especially when you offer that criticism sounding as though it could come with Bernie Sanders. In a Republican primary, you do not win if you're going to sound like a liberal democrat criticizing Ted Cruz."
Well ,Cruz just said the other day that he also can cut deals with the same people.
Try to keep up.
Agree completely, but people with cancer were forced onto insurance companies who should not have to cover them. They are allowed to buy insurance after they are diagnosed.
Do you drop them once you drop obcare? What do you do with those with cancer etc? It will be ugly.

Rush’s double standard is something to behold. On one hand he says that Trump may have lost Iowans because Trump said he could work with Reid and Pelosi, but doesn’t seem to have a problem with Rubio (A sitting U.S. Senator) actually sitting down with the likes of Schumer, Durbin and McCain in the “Gang of Eight” and engaging in something that had the potential to completely destroy our nation and provide the Democrats with a forever voting block!
The hypocrisy of some, including good old El Rushbo is a sight to behold!

Well, who was supposed to say it? All of those things about Cruz are true. Just let it pass?
Rubio...... would never vote for him, and according to a lot of the polls in Florida neither would his own constituents.

Time for you to endorse Cruz and get conservatives onside again.
“Cruz got 8 delegates.
Trump got 7.”
In other words Trump Lost!
Up by 14 he barely even beat Rubio.
So much for running the table.
It’s a long primary season to go. I do congratulate Sen Cruz in his victory last night. But Truthfully I don’t see him pulling out a win in either NH or SC.

I’ve never run across Scripture that said “let the free market take care of them”.
This is true. He list me when he went after Cruz in this manner.
It tells us Trump is all hat and no cattle and doesn’t even know a cow pie from a moon pie.
It reminds me of the saying:

The ‘NY values’ attack knocked him off balance. Though that could come back to haunt Cruz.
The lesson of Iowa is that people vote for what they like and Cruz is- and always was- what Iowan Reps like.
Trump made no unusual error error, Cruz just, naturally, did better.
Yea there are a few of us on here who are fed up with all this infighting.
It won’t stop the usual suspects though.
Rush is ignoring the very liberal and poll tested “NY Values campaign” launched by the Cruznadian himself during the debate. Trump responded to that and is getting bashed for it? LOL. A double standard if there ever was one.
