Jeb Bush sees insults and 'backbenchers' in Iowa, looks ahead to NH 'reset'
MSNBC ^ | Jordan Frasier

MANCHESTER, New Hampshire---Jeb Bush didn't exactly name names when he made his prediction for which of his fellow candidates would finish in the top three in Iowa, but it was clear who he was talking about.

"It's all about him and insulting his way to the presidency is the organizing principle," Bush said of Donald Trump. "The two other candidates that are likely to emerge in Iowa are two people that are backbenchers who have never done anything of consequence in their lives," he added, seemingly of Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz.

“I personally want a feisty Jeb fighting hard for every vote in NH.
If he can keep Rubio in 5th it will change the narrative.”

So it’s the old enemy of my enemy is my “friend” trick! Little Yebbie can make a “contribution” to the process by taking The Cabana Boy out in NH?

He sounds like a typical bully when he gets hi ass kicked by a smaller kid with better fighting skills.

Get lost jebbie. Take your tears to mommy.

Jeb is so completely out of touch: he doesn’t know or care that people dislike sore losers.

Very good point.   Yeb can serve a useful purpose in fragmenting the GOPe.

My guess is he will stay in, hoping to score in Florida.

Now go home and get your shinebox, Jeb.

That was so mean. (But it's very funny).

Cruz and Rubio have never done anything of consequence in their lives—but Jeb has? That’s a pathetic claim.

[John Ellis] Bush insults the three winners of Iowa.

Eight months in and he still hasn't figured out the decorum thing? It's not like he was Howard Dean and got a surprise drubbing. It means he has zero expectation of getting support from ANY of their faithful delegates on a second round of ballots (his only hope at a convention). Of all 17 candidates, I think the three he hates the most (even BEFORE things got ugly) are Rubio, Trump, and Cruz in that order.

Sounds like something that Joe Stalin would say. However, a lot of folks think that he took credit for it - it was said many times by many people..

Jeb, New Hampshire isn't the reset switch for your campaign. It's the big off switch. Flip it, Jeb, flip it!

Talk about insulting your way to the WH Yeb_ster....remember people like me...the conservative base you said you could win without....you definitely don’t have the brains or the insightful strategic thinking that is required of the next president, in these times.

You’re the bush_leaguer sitting on the back bench...you’re like most of your politician brethren you spent a boatload of other peoples money and got squat to show for it...just go away

Jeb Bush staying in the race shows he has a bigger ego than Trump. At least you can say Trump has something to show for it - a double digit poll result while Jeb barely registered...yet Jeb stays in the race actually thinking he can gain support when he has nowhere to go.

Are NH, SC, or Nevada early vote/vote-by-mail states?

If some people have already voted and thought Rubio was already toast, then it may already be too late for him.

That's what happened to Santorum in Michigan. People had already locked in their votes for Mittens before Santorum caught fire.
