I guess what is going on is that Rush, Levin, Beck and some of the rest are panicking.They are thinking that if Trump wins Iowa and NH he could run the table. and they are right. He very well could.

Same here, Rubio could absolutely win it. I prefer Trump for the very reasons Sarah Palin stated this morning. I want what I believe is the best way to clean up the Washington, DC cesspool.
Rubio got started with the wrong people especially with the gang of eight.I know he was a protege of Jeb for a while down here but we all see how that wound up.
Once you meet the guy it changes how you view him.He is charismatic, well spoken,but as you say its tough to know who is behind him and just how much influence they have.
I would guess the big difference is that the people who know Cruz,to a tee don't have anything good to say about him.Whereas, I know many who know Marco and to a tee they all have nothing but good to say about him.
I almost have to rate him #2 behind Trump,even if he is loaded with baggage.
I'm sorry, but have you seen the number of conservatives that have been thrown under the Trump bus for being less than supportive of him? Tom Sowell, all of NR, Mark Levin, etc. So both sides have done their share of excommunicating conservatives.
The only ones I accuse of not being conservative are the ones defending Trump's love of government healthcare, his support of government mandates, and his love of unconstitutional executive actions. Those are all positions that were vehemently opposed when Obama supported them, but now seem to be in vogue because Trump supports them.

Rush is not just supporting his guy, Cruz. He’s trying to damage Trump. So if Trump wins, is Rush going to keep up the attacks? Is he going to tell us it’s for conservatism?
I live in California, Cruz can’t even get 20% in California. Why to waste gas and create carbon footprint? He may win handful of states. Writing on Wall.
