Ted Cruz has scored what is perhaps the most coveted endorsement in South Carolina, that of 3rd District Congressman Jeff Duncan.
Duncan, who was elected to Congress in 2010 on a wave of tea party support, has become one of the biggest heroes of conservatives not only in South Carolina, but nationally as well.
Duncan is a champion of Second Amendment rights and is a member of the House Liberty Caucus. Duncan became a true rock star among conservatives when he voted against John Boehner for reelection as Speaker of the House in January 2015...

Evangelicals have a history of winning Iowa. Then the disappear. Huckabee did as did Santorum. Both evangelicals. If Trump does not win he will survive it. If Cruz does not win. He can pack it up and save his supporters money. Which would be the HONEST thing to do.

I have no predictions on the outcome of the Iowa caucus.
I will vote for Trump in the general if he is nominated.
I avoid insulting the supporters of other candidates as we must come together and defeat Shillary in Novemmber.
Personally know Jeff, a friend, knew this was coming. This was the best political move for him in his district. I want hold it against him. Cruz will win this district. But unfortunately Cruz just doesn’t have what it takes to overcome media bias and Clinton will win the general.
I live in SC and can tell you Duncan is about as popular as Graham - so this will hurt more than help - sorry!

It’s certainly possible, but unless he recognizes his real opponent, the bias media, and goes on the attack, he will lose in a landslide to Clinton. Right on positions, wanting on leadership.

I keep hearing that but Cruz claimed he did not know he was a Canadian citizen for 43 years until the Dallas Morning News pointed it out to him. It seems to me that even a non lawyer should be aware of their citizenship status. That makes me question the whole super smart lawyer thing just a bit.

Jeff has the most conservative record in the House and is more popular now than ever. Though I wish he’d taken a political risk and endorsed Trump, the only R. capable of beating Hillary.

I know u r gone, but if Trump wins we can always celebrate the wall that he is going to build. It will be free for the American Taxpayer so that will b something to make us all happy at the end of this.
