I’m not complaining... I don’t care at all what he gave. But the trumpers come in here bragging about him giving a million dollars. And the perspective is that he gave very little of what he has. Like you or me giving a hundred bucks. I didn’t ask him to give anything. I don’t care what he or you do or give. I’m not asking to tax him. I doesn’t matter. But the fact is he gave very little of what he has. And there are people all over this world who give MUCH of themselves and their resources when they are passionate. That’s my opinion. So flame away if you want to... but you’ll still be wrong.

I like the fact that Trump stuck to his guns, and in 24 hours organized an event 5 miles away that raised money for veterans.

He needs no one, and no one controls him. And that is infuriating the uniparty.

One of the benefits of having “F-You Money” is being able to SAY “F-You” to any and all when it needs to be said.

.
The “Debate” became a Puff Rubio event rather than the usual Puff Trump stuff we saw in the previous circuses.

Obviously Trump’s tantrum was scheduled.

Ah, let me be clear, I did not say mediocre campaigners. Nor did I say mediocre persons.

Ben Carson is a tremendous quality person. So is my Pastor. But I’d want neither as President (except maybe as an alternative to Hillary or Bernie!)

Trump comes out anti-GOPe and strong on immigration: His policy paper on immigration is mostly quite good. But, where are the words “freedom”, “constitution”, and so on, when he talks (or puts out position papers)? I sometimes almost feel like Worf in Star Trek when he says to Korris (a renegade Klingon wanting to relive past glories) “Where are the words duty, honor, and loyalty, without which a warrior is NOTHING.” Beyond all that... Trump has me cheering one minute, face palming the next.

Then we have Cruz: He has a mostly good history of conservatism, is good on many (but not all issues), knows his Constitution and is a good debater (in content, anyway.) However, he often comes off as harsh and unlikable, and, can he attract anyone besides hardcore conservatives? I’m not asking him to compromise principles, but he seems to have little of the Reagan capacity to make conservatism attractive to more people.

Fiorina can take apart Hillary like no one’s tomorrow, but there’s her past at HP, and inability to get traction as well.

And so on.

You say: “Many conservatives, however, will lose their seat at the table when he’s (Trump) elected.” To be replaced by...???

If Trump or Cruz wins the nomination — seems likely at this point — there’s no question I’d vote for either of them, short of Zell Miller (assuming he’s not gone senile) appearing out of the blue. But Cruz and Trump are both rolls of the dice: If she makes it to the general election, Hillary’s probably surmounted her legal problems, and would likely beat Cruz. Trump can beat Hillary, but, can he govern without a like minded Congress? Will he zig, or zag? And how will he deal with the bureaucracy?

“And his first answer is kinda...well....like..
I’m reminded of Phil Hartman’s unfrozen Caveman lawyer. “I am but a simple caveman; your world frightens and confuses me.”

Regarding Ben Carson...

Notice that anytime he’s asked a question, he first refers to his profession as a surgeon to make himself look more important than the other candidates.

What was it yesterday? Something about taking more calls at 3am and having to make more life and death decisions than any of the other candidates on stage. That’s fine if the president’s job is that of a pediatric surgeon.

At one of the first debates, he said he was the only candidate on stage who separated Siamese twins. As if it should be a requirement to be president. Oh...the ego.

Damn right!

I’ve never seen an American politician do what Trump is doing. He’s dictating to the press, bot the other way around. None of the other candidates are within 1,000 light years of Trump’s mastery.

The “battered wife” Conservatives/Republicans are too battered/dumb/ignorant/etc. to see what’s going on. “Oh look, this poll that my dog did shows Cruz is up by 100% in Iowa! Post it in ‘Breaking News!’” Yeah, ok. Schmucks.

It’s amazing the power the word “No” has when you have the brains, balls and in this case, bucks, to enforce it.

Trump or bust, period.

“If you name the last great President that was a billionaire real estate development tycoon first.”

There haven’t been any, and that’s why our country is in a mess.

I did not watch any of Trump’s rally. He went down that road?

I would summarize him as saying the only reason he was there was because Ailes & Kelly would not kiss his lily white arse.

He is incapable of turning it off. My 10 year old grandson has more emotional maturity than he has.

I think that Megyn’s hair was victimized by a Veg-O-Matic since the last debate.

You must have missed Cruz’s answer.

There was an interruption, so I wasn’t able to hear all of Cruz’s answer...but what I heard seemed long winded and not direct. He should have said he was not in favor of ethanol subsidies & left it at that.
