Now the question is what other candidates have the guts to tell Fox to shove it? Only Trump so far.

AT LAST!! Cruzers get to pass the hate around just a bit, then they can zero back in on the FRONTRUNNER.

This is an opportunity to shove such back down their throat with a large, uncensored national audience and multiple replays if it's down well. Bring it on! Showing fear is what they want as bullies. But like other bullies they can't take it as well as they dish it out.

For that matter, if as some suggested up thread, that the debate sans Trump will become a gang up on Ted fight, great! What do they think Ted's been doing in the Senate. It's nearly all been a all against Ted fight there. He relishes it. And although he may not be winning votes there he's been winning big on points with those watching. Which is how a Senator that green got to this position in the race. He couldn't leverage daddy's base like Rand. He couldn't leverage the race card like Obama. He isn't embed in the Cuban community enough to leverage that. He's Don Quixote nobly fighting windmills, or at least windmill subsidies and mandates. Or he's Cyrano fighting the whole room at once, all the while making brilliant quips and deprecating his own appearance. Trump is a fool to give him the chance. Even the pro-Trump polls say lots of Iowans are undecided. Well either they're going to stay undecided and stay home or they're going to decide real soon now and how better than to watch the last debate, perhaps starting it bit late if the suddenly #3 Hawkeye's BB game runs long. I hope Iowa wins and Ted gets the score pre-debate. A comment about how Iowa, Iowa State and UNI have all defeated #1 ranked teams this year would go over well with Iowa Values. They won't be deciding by watching a Trump charity event.

Never enable terrorists. Did you forget who flew the planes on 9/11? They were Saudis.

Push back means not giving them an audience. Ted Cruz should also boycott the debates. Why should Cruz enable them?

The good news for Cruz is if Faux does set him up, at least there won’t
be many viewers watching.

Boy, has there already been a focus group to test “enable the terrorists?” I don’t recall Baghdad Bob’s ‘news stories’ doing Saddam much good. Popping up where Ted can, rhetorically, gun them down isn’t going to enable terrorism. It’s going to help rally our public opinion against them and increase the chance that Ted’s future gunning won’t be rhetorical. I thought you Trump guys were all for using judo on MSM coverage, using Hillary’s captive press to raise up Trump. Why can’t Ted do the same with the jihadi press? And why isn’t Trump begging to do the same with them? I thought he was the master of press judo.

I'm Trump and Cruz. What are you? Would you vote for Trump if he is the nominee?

I would never enable a terrorist. Would you?

I still don't understand what is so all fired crazy about expecting the moderators at a competitive debate event to at least have the appearance of impartiality. We just accept that it's going to be a cage match. Pity.

I wish that we got OAN!

But FOX has lost this household too.

Many of them have already been “smoked out” and yes, as an original member of the VIKING KITTIES, I’d be happy to reup.

Well I would expect Trumpsters to see Trump strong no matter what he says or does. .....

As to the debate...He first insulted Iowans by telling them their “stupid”...then he further shows them his contempt by not attending their debate....

He’s afraid of loosing Iowa so rather than face the music he runs like a scared rabbit afraid of his own shadow.... and that’s what all this is about....his fear of loosing... period.

Trumps entire makeup is all about obssessive control of his his environment and people....not for the sake of controlling people but to protect his fragile ego which he thinks should be admired and adored..... Control is a major component of narcissism.

All this manuevering and manipulation, his supporters thinks he’s being so smart about, is really Trump protecting himself from any emotional blow either by dictating his surroundings and or lashing out, along with “rearranging” any environment he’s in or a part of......this accomplishes what he needs and wants which is self protection.... of which he’s had many many years of refining.

Trump will always have his “own version of the truth” to protect his ego, and that will be then translated in such a way to retain his supporters, which he also needs.

Because he has has a very low threshold of tolerance to uncertainty and inconvenience, emotional or material.... and little patience he must have it all NOW, good or bad. And why we heard him say many times he did not want to wait to the election....he had the supporters and his polls were high , he could “taste” the Presidency with the numbers who were supporting him..and those numbers are beyond just a tally for Trump...they are absolutly necessarry for him to remain in the debate.

Have you read that book?

Don Quixote is a delusional old man, whose "tilting at wind mills" has become common parlance for some idiot doing something stupid/crazy/bizarre which has NO good outcome at all.

Cyrano? Tell me, please, that you're kidding with THAT allusion.

Please don't try to use literary allusions when you don't actually know the characters.

Bad idea, Donald. A bridge too far. Unless (as I’m starting to believe) he wants off the whole carousel anyway.

The debates aren’t about him and his feelings either. Quit acting like a spoiled little rich kid, put on your big boy diaper and go debate.

Smart move on so many levels. When you peel away all the frantic ‘commentary,’ it boils down to the fact that Trump is POSITIVE, all the others are NEGATIVE.

I’ve been reading the ARt of the Deal and have put it to good use.

It starts with when you are buying something eg an antique or in my case to get some repairs done on my guitar.

I ask them what would it cost to fix the guitar cracks...

They respond $1000 but it could use a neck reset and fret work and that’s an extra $900.

I say, the guitar plays great. It already had a neck reset. The guitar is 70 years old and maybe it’s not perfect but I don’t think it needs that. $1000 is a bit much for the wood repairs. So I walk.....

They come back and now the repairs are to $750. I offer $1000 to do it all. If they yes, great... if they say no... I still brought them down $250.00

Trump is out to make deals... but in this case a no deal is a good deal. Any deal that has Kelly as moderator at this point is no deal...and Trump should know that.

If Fox takes her off, you will see the biggest mess over there. She’ll quit...some others too. IF they keep her on, there will be considerable behind the scene criticism of her.

Wrong. Trump (alone) now has them by the gonads. CRUZ can still benefit by also leaving, saying, “Donald has said some things about me, but on this he’s right.” His #s would rise.
