Trump: Ted Cruz is a Liar
Newsmax ^ | 01/26/2016 | Sandy Fitzgerald

Donald Trump Tuesday tore into rival GOP presidential candidate Ted Cruz, calling him a "liar" and a "nasty" person who nobody likes — and said he is a "lone wolf" like President Barack Obama, only "more strident."

"Ted Cruz lies," the front-runner for the party's nomination told MSNBC's "Morning Joe" program. "He is a liar. That's why nobody likes him. That's why the Senate people won't endorse him. He stands in the middle of the Senate floor and can't make a deal with anybody. He's a jerk."

During a primary he is. They all are to the individuals running against each other. This is war and only one will win.

“But one states clearly that Trump bulldozed a widow’s house.”

No it doesn’t.

Trump’s style is not my style at all.
Being from South, I am polite - don’t-offend approach. I cringe every time he says something like this.
But it seems to work for him.
I want something that works as long as it is not illegal or immoral.

I had hope some months ago. Now I am just sickened by the whole thing. What could Trump possibly gain by calling Cruz nasty and wacko. The dems are laughing their asses off at this crap, the hope I had is gone.

The ad is worded to say that Trump tried to use E.D. to have the house bulldozed. That is true.

There are no lies in the ad. It is a very cleverly worded ad.

Trump’s views years ago are fair game in a campaign, but they are not his views today if he changed.

He was an outspoken progressive until 2015. A tiger doesn't change it's stripes overnight.
How could he go from being upset with oboma for not going far enough with the banks? Trump wanted oboma to nationalize them. Now, supporting the free market is a huge jump.
He also said oboma didn't go far enough with obomacare. Trump wanted universal health care "Like they have in Canada. " Now, he's done a complete 180? That's quite a spiritual jump don't you think?
He's always hated guns. Now, again, a 180.

Doesn't that make you at least question his honesty? He's a salesman. He's selling you a product - himself. He's got to make that product appear perfect, or you won't buy it. He's pretending to be a perfect, mirror image of the Republican base, because who would not want to vote for someone "just like me."?
Presto - The sale is made! After you buy that old junker, it won't be Trumps fault if it only makes it a mile down the road without blowing a gasket. YOU CHOSE to buy that rust heap.

He's either "made a deal" with Bill Clinton the same way Perot made a deal, or he's just trying to get into the oval office before he takes his mask off.

Being a HUGE Hillary supporter for decades, I very much doubt he is what he's pretending to be.

My guess is he's there to GURENTEE a Hillary win. And that's why, against all odds, Hillary isn't even bothering to try. She knows the fix is in.

Oh for goodness sake. We begged Bush to go after the enemy when bashed and now we have an American Patriot doing it and you complain. Lord you are not happy ever.

When did Ted Cruz become "the enemy?"

Please note that these histrionics are being hurled at a principled conservative by a man who in the last day or two has been talking about what a great relationship he has with Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and Chuck Schumer, and how he's confident he can work across the aisle.

The ad SHOWS the house being bulldozed WHILE stating that Trump colluded to bulldoze the house. The dishonesty required to argue that the ad doesn’t lie is of Obama proportions.

Re:”Palin isn’t a loser, Trump isn’t either.
The American media and McCain failed Palin.”

If you expect the media to hold your water as a conservative, you are denser than a black hole.

It won’t be hard for Hillary to turn Bern into a screaming Howard Dean. That witch well knows how to bring out the worst in anyone. Then if Bill cut a deal with the King of deal making, it will be very obvious to some of us after she is placed on the throne.

But you admit that Trump did collude to bulldoze the house. That part is true. And that’s the point of the ad.

It’s like if someone ran an ad saying that if we don’t stop Iran now they will develop a nuclear weapon, then showed a video of a mushroom cloud rising from a nuclear explosion. I guess you can say that the ad is a lie because Iran has never detonated a nuclear bomb.

You don’t think Trump considered Cruz the enemy during this primary? Marco Rubio? Huckster? Christie? Oh how naive. Politics is not a soft game that you believe it is. It is nail eating, crushing, hard event.

Cruz hopefully will go to the Supreme Court where he belongs and affect good. He has no business being President of the United States of America.

so you in a sense are saying Cruz ad is a lie to say Trump bull dozed her house. If he lost in court, he never did what Cruz ad says he did. Sure Donald did all he could legally to try to obtain her house but that’s all legal and not the issue of Cruz ad stating false and very inaccurate view of what happened!

What surprises me is how quickly people have forgotten how every election the American people get railroaded and get the “candidate” the great and powerful oz MAKES them have. I have recovered from my Trump drunk stupor and realize what is ahead. We had Dole, McCain and Romney throw elections and nothing, NOTHING in the future will ever change.

Trump is a huge Hillary supporter. Always has been. Trump has GOT to get the base to turn on him so he can say things were "unfair". That way he can go independent and split the Republican vote.
It's how Bill won reelection. Perot was the guy who saved him. Trump will save Hillary.
If Trump can't get people to turn on him so he can go independent, he's going to have to blow the election later and look like a loser. Trump doesn't WANT to look like a loser, so expect him to start getting REALLY unhinged!

Trump going Independent and splitting the Republican vote is the only way Hillary can win. This election is for the Republicans to lose.

PREDICTION - Trump WILL find way way to go independent. Hillary, Trumps choice, must win the presidency. Watch for this!

There’s nothing clever about dishonesty. The ad depicts a bulldozer flattening the house whilst stating that Trump colluded to make it happen. It is the type of slimy, vile, creepy lie Obama would tell. He too prides himself on cleverness. He knows he’s being deceitful, but he believes that leaving himself a technical out simply underscores his mental superiority.

>> It will be Palin or someone Palinesque <<

Dream on. I think Trump is shrewd enough to know that he needs a running mate who will appeal to independents and help him carry swing states like Ohio and Florida. I’d imagine that means Kasich could be near the top of his list.
