You got that right, Trump’s LIEberalism is a disease that effects too many businesses and their cronies in government.
I mean the faux conservative LIEberal LIEs from such sources as that. They forever mischaracterize what Trump came to offer and ultimately bring dishonor on themselves.
It used to be that conservatives would LISTEN. Now they are just going na na na na with their fingers in their ears. Oh we have Trump all figured out and don’t distract us with what he’s been saying he’s about and showing it convincingly to a plurality of the pollees!
Which should make you happy. Going back to my first caucus in '76 for Reagan, my candidate has only won the state once â I was out of state for my education during Reagan's wins. Of course, as an Iowan, I've had the luxury of picking from the largest possible field and hoping that an Iowa would build momentum for 'my' candidate. However, in 20-20 hindsight I stand by all my picks, but one where I'd picked the second best, in hindsight, of the losers. Still, my concerns about the ultimate winners have ALWAYS come true. Not quite as bad as Cassandra's record, but annoyingly close. But I can't help reporting the truth. Yes, Roberts turned out to be a weasel, but I haven't read anything, from anyone, anywhere that said his weaselness could have been known at the time of his nomination. He was a good pick on paper, as good as could have been expected from W, and better than those Bush had proposed in the past. The only explanation I've seen were irregularities in the laws of his foreign adopted childrens' birth country, which could provide blackmail opportunities, but which weren't known to Bush's team nor to the Senate. I blame Roberts for his Obamination. But there is no fair reason to blame Cruz or any other Roberts supporter. They were as blindsided as the rest of us.
I aim my bitterness precisely: At Roberts himself. At Obama, Reid, etc. who produced the damn thing, and at the cowardly GOPe leadership who aren't willing to fight effectively against the dang thing. Cruz has said and done nothing to deserve my bitterness. Trump hasn't yet done anything to deserve it, but his statements, even just those since he joined the race, deserve my concern over his future actions not only in removing Obamacare, but in healthcare after that.
If Trump wins the nomination he'll win my vote, considering the alternatives. He is pro-American, will improve the immigration problem and at least some of his other policies will help. The foreseeable Democrats (and Doomberg) fail on all accounts. But I'll be praying for his judgement and praying his conservative remaking continues. And praying I'm wrong in some of my concerns. Because if Trump doesn't adequately fix healthcare, and current trends continue, this solo physician will end up retiring before I want and before I'm financially ready. And then I'll be bitter, damn bitter, at Trump and all his supporters who prevented a better option!
If Cruz wins I only need pray God sends him enough strength to complete his tasks. I have no doubts over his judgement and his proposed policies are nearly all excellent. And, since Cruz doesn't fear a Government shutdown and would be willing to veto often and go over Congress's head to the public in veto fights, I know he, once elected, can do the things the GOPe fears he'd do.
I do care very much.
Show that you care even more about it than you, then.
Well, for Cruz (and to be fair, Trump) I’d pray their egos do not walk away with them.
Trump is more worldly, and ego would actually discombobulate his thought process less than the thought process of a more advanced Christian. God will let a saved soul limp along on selfishness for a while; it is the plan of His grace, and Christ takes the burden of it. Cruz is going to fall under heavier divine scrutiny. Just sayin’ based on how things feel out right now. Might be some details I do not see.
Or, pest to come?
Good grief, if Trump isn’t taken seriously on his deal pretty soon, we are going to probably have a strong horse with an agenda that still has unicorn features on it.
For that reason I really hope people, whatever their hot words at Trump, really do try to play ball with him. There is an announced opportunity here. It might even be real. Take him up on it.
Senator Cruz -- Dump This Dumb S.O.B.!
Glenn Beck to Vote for Hillary if McCain is GOP Nominee
Glenn Beck - Why he would of voted for Hillary instead of John McCain
Glenn Beck: McCain would've been worse
Glenn Beck: I May have Voted for Hillary Clinton
Glenn Beck: 'I won't vote for Trump.' (Even if running against Hillary)
Spoken like a trumpetteer.. Thanks for making my point.
I play the guitar, not a trumpet.
What a Drama Queen! A 'god', 'worship'? Really?
As you can see from the comments, it doesn’t appear many of the Trump supporters even bothered to watch the video. They prefer to be willfully ignorant.
A lot of people were saying “nice things” about Obama - they weren’t praising his policies like Trump - namely the stimulus that continues to be a drag on the economy to this very day. In addition, there are lot of things on this video Trump stated in this very campaign - not from the “past.”
Not included in this video is Trump literally attacking conservatives and what we stand for on the campaign trail - in this campaign. Is that also “from the past”?
Oh, I see. "conversion to conservatism"? He has said the exact same things - and more - since 2011 - indeed, during this very campaign (as are highlighted prominently in the video - did you even watch it or just comment?) - including attacking conservatives and what they stand for. How do you spin that?
Conversion to a form of Nationalism, maybe, but conservatism?
As a pastor you should be able to recognize a faux conversion.
I hope you are looking at the polls. Trump is blowing the competition away.
I'm not going to base my vote on poll results.
You realize that odds are very great right now that he will win.
That does not affect my opinion of Mr. Trump at all.
She is still alive, though in her 90s, and moved to be closer to family.
And this is what happened here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SmM4ZBoppNQ&list=PLJcbhHQDR9da0H3-Qs-7WEEj6tam9vlh3&index=4
He was halted in his tracks due to a judge ruling in her favor - otherwise he would have moved forward. This is not disputable.
What kind of an analogy for his duties as President? The President appoints SCOTUS justices and other judges - since he is strong advocate of eminent domain abuse and a strong, outspoken supporter of the outrageous Kelo v. New London CT. He has reiterated this position during this campaign. I do not want someone who supports those kinds of outrageous judicial rulings appointing justices and other members of the judiciary. I think that’s a very legitimate concern.
