Yes, I believe this article is correct, I have described Trump as narcissistic. I don’t trust or believe him because he does exhibit these characteristics. His lack of empathy is exhibited by his mocking the afflicted reporter and by his mocking and name calling political opponents instead of attacking them on the real issues. Again he believes that the superlatives he uses are good enough to supplant facts of how he will accomplish something.. I believe we’re in deep doo doo as GHW would say if we elect Sanders, Hillary, Jeb or a few others including Trump but for different reasons as I’ve said before, I don’t think he’s stable. We must not squander this opportunity.

The Supreme Court upheld this in Kelo.

The Supreme Court was flagrantly wrong in Kelo and at one time I bet 95%+ of Freepers would have agreed with me on that. Even most of the GOPe would have claimed, in public, to agree with me on that If we don't like this we need to change the Court. How is electing someone who praises Kelo going to change this?

We need to elect someone who nominate jurists who'll revere and follow the constitution and the law it truly represents. Cruz is better inclined and informed to pick such than any of the other candidates. And don't go throwing his support of Roberts at me! Firstly, Roberts wouldn't have been Cruz's first choice, although he did support Roberts after Bush picked him. Secondly, EVERYONE was fooled by Roberts, that is everyone excepting those who possessed the information and will to blackmail Roberts over his kids' adoptions. Cruz is not claiming omniscience and, absent that, supporting Roberts was the proper choice based on all the available information. Evil cheats and so won one there. The response should not be to attack the victims of evil, but its purveyors.

That’s cool, duffee.

I didn’t like him, trust him or believe him myself when he announced.

These things changed for me at some later point.

Maybe that will also be the case for you, or perhaps it will not.

I think people come to the decisions they make when they come to them, and they arrive at those decisions based upon criteria that is important to them.

It works the same way with an iPad as with a Mac or a PC, put < i > before to start a run of italics, and < /i > after to end it, but without the spaces before and after the 'i' and the '/i.' Likewise, with 'u' instead of 'i' for underlined text, 'b' instead for boldfaced text and 's' instead for strikethru text.

The results, when entered correctly, show up in your FR Preview box when you are composing your reply. So you can see you have it right before hitting the 'Post' button. However, although these html tag tricks (slightly more complicated ones let you post links and images) work from all platforms I will admit editing to produce the needed text is more of a pain on an iPad than on a real computer. The newest versions of iOS have improved that somewhat, but it's still a pain.

Kelo: OK by me, if there is legal process and fair remuneration. Change the law and I’ll be fine with that too.

“We need to elect someone who nominate jurists who’ll revere and follow the constitution and the law it truly represents. Cruz is better inclined and informed to pick such than any of the other candidates.”

Not sure it matters, if you don’t have the votes to win the nomination. We’ll know soon, but it appears Cruz has a half tank when a full tank is required to win.

“And don’t go throwing his support of Roberts at me! Firstly, Roberts wouldn’t have been Cruz’s first choice, although he did support Roberts after Bush picked him. “

Cruz said he’s a Constitutionalist. Wasn’t me.

I think Cruz would be better on the Supreme Court than elsewhere.

Russert: Would President Trump ban partial-birth abortion?

Trump: Well, look.. I'm very Pro-Choice..

Russert: But you would not ban it?

Trump: No.

Russert: Or ban partial birth abortion?

Trump: No. I wouldn't. I am pro-choice in every respect.

A lead to truth should be all we need. If you actually cared about what goes down in America and not just about the mortal guy you are cheering for.

You sure saw a different debate than I did.

Maybe you were watching with the sound off. Or maybe your ears were plugged up with Trump kool-aid. Trump talked about how well health care worked in Canada and also in Scotland. A Canadian, since naturalized, married into my family of US physicians. A great addition with a fine family back in Canada I've gotten to know a bit. Her parents died and her sister is probably dying now under Canadian health care and I've heard plenty of horror stories. I've also known some physicians who moved down here to escape it and heard their stories, too. The problems have been obvious to anyone paying attention for years. But Trump's crowd is so rich, they don't que up for the nationalized local docs, they just flit off to the Mayo clinic, etc. whenever they have a hangnail. And enjoy communing with the other elites while they're there. Plus, according to his doctor, Trump is so yugely healthy, that he can't share and compare lumbago stories with his friends.

No one knew he was a weasel at the time. All the available evidence said otherwise, right up to his Obamination. Meanwhile Trump promotes his sister as a possible Supreme Court justice. I trust he loves her and knows she’s smart (which should be necessary but historically isn’t sufficient to make a good justice) yet ignores her liberal bench record. Cruz only claims to be human (some days I’m not sure Trump claims the same) but I’ll pick his selection thought process over Trump’s any day.

Health care should be dealt with at the family or individual level. Employers shouldn’t have anything to do with it beyond paying wages. Government should only be involved as a payor/provider of last choice, and should be involved at the lowest level of government that can do the job. People got care before Medicare and Medicaid. I know, three generations of physicians in my family provided it. If we grow the general economy faster, instead of growing the government, state and local governments will have more resources to offer for the truly needed at tolerable tax levels. Gut the government and insurance health care administrative bureaucracies, the administrative staff physicians and hospitals need to work past them, and restore the individual physician - patient relationship. The above is even more needed than tort reform, although there are plenty of legal parasitic costs available to be cut as well.
