Fox's Gutfeld Goes Off on Palin: She's 'Abandoning' Her Faith to Throw In with Trump
Mediaite ^ | 1/19/16 | Josh Feldman

Fox News' Greg Gutfeld really tore into Sarah Palin for her endorsement of Donald Trump today because to him, it reeks of opportunism.

He snarked that "Palin's endorsement is massive, because it will definitely get Palin's vote."

As the hosts of The Five talked about Palin going for Trump over Cruz, Gutfeld said the fact that a strong religious conservative has abandoned another in favor of Trump shows "the opportunism of a lot of top conservatives who, when they saw the bandwagon, they jumped."

I’m curious. The only one on The Five I’ve ever thought had a head on her shoulders is that Kimberly Guilfoyle(sp). What does she say about it?

Maybe she's just being pragmatic. Trump looks like he's going to win.

Yeah, I think you're right. I support Cruz, but at this point it looks like it's going to be Trump. Me thinks Palin wants the Secretary of Energy spot.

I never felt that Sarah was strong religiously.
...............................................

‘Never’. Wow, you just must be a direct emissary of God to have known that the very second you saw Sarah Palin. Glad there's no judgmenaltism in you.

How many woman come to your church?
Are they ‘stronger’ religiously than Sarah?
How many bring their down syndrome child?
There aren't any?
Why do you think that is?

Gutfeld’s over the target. You Trump drones are embarrassing.

First McCain, and I excused her for that. Now Trump.

Once is an accident. Twice is a pattern.

Yeah...Gutfield...a goofy bastard with a big mouth and an unhealthy fixation on Dana Perino.

Just the kind of guy I take all my political guidance from.

Shut up , Gutfield and make a joke or something.

FYI, Trump was in his mid-50s in 1999.

Here's the 1999 Donald Trump 'New York Values' Interview Cruz Has Been Talking About

by
January 16th, 2016

trump 99

In continuing his "New York values" line of attack, Ted Cruz brought up an interview Donald Trump gave years ago in which he himself emphasized his New York background as being important to his political philosophy. And now we have that interview.

Cruz's campaign posted the video earlier today of Trump with Tim Russert on Meet the Press in 1999.

Russert asked Trump about gay marriage. Trump didn't want to comment on it, but said he has no problem with gays in the military.

He explained, "I've lived in New York City and Manhattan all my life, okay? So my views are a little bit different than if I lived in Iowa."

When Russert asked Trump about abortion, he said he's "pro-choice in every respect" and again cited his New York background, which he said has a "different attitude" from most of the country.
