Dear Reader (including those of you born in Canada),
I guess we should start there. I find this birther stuff to be a lot like women's prison movies: compelling, entertaining, and totally ridiculous.
Other than the presidency, there's no place in American life where the distinction between "naturalized" and "natural-born" citizenship matters.
But imagine if it did? Imagine that your American-born mother just happened to give birth to you in Canada or Belize while on vacation. Your American-born mom and dad bring you home days later and raise you exactly as they would have had they been in Cleveland the whole time. Now imagine there are also all sorts of jobs you are barred from having. Not only can you not be president, but you can't be, say, a chiropodist or an embalmer. Pick your restrictions: You can't go to certain colleges or you can't get the best ESPN bundle. Americans born abroad can't buy basset hounds. Unless you were born here, you can't get cheese on your hamburger. Whatever. It really doesn't matter.....

Nope, he doesn’t. But it’s obvious Trump will pick up any handy club to hit an adversary with, in order to win.
For good or for bad, Trump goes all-out to win.

Like most competitive polititans, Donald studies the zeitgeist of the electorate.
It’s not Cruz. It’s the guy born in Iran next time who we have to say....well we let Cruz the Canadian in so we have to be fair and allow the Iranian in too. That is my problem with this. It’s what happens next. We will be seeing this more due to immigration. I mean Cruz is barely eligible at best......No matter what, I want a law that says nobody can be President if they are born outside the United States except literally on a military base at aa American military hospital. I am not even convince Diplomats should have the same benefit as military.
Does anyone seriously believe that National Review is anything other than in the bag for Bush and Rubio?
Drudge published a poll that 25 percent feel that its likely Cruz is not qualified to be a candidate.
And Cruz may face several suits.
Worse yet, Cruz’s inaction makes it seem like he really isn’t that sure or he would ask for a declarative ruling from the courts.
Does anyone believe Jonah Goldberg is any more Jewish than Whoopie Goldberg?
Lately Cruz is reminding me more and More of Richard Nixon.
Why doesn’t Cruz just give the New York money back.
Trump cares about Trump. Everything else is theatre.
Jonah Goldberg is an elite citizen of the world. A real sophisticated fellow.
He doesn’t see anything special about America.
Does Trump believe even half of what he says?
Look for Trump to ramp up attacks on Cruz and be more even obvious about moving to the center/left.
His increased attacks on Cruz and defense of liberal NY values signals to me that he knows he’s lost Iowa so he’s positioning himself for NH and Super Tuesday.
If he had Iowa in hand, he wouldn’t need to attack Cruz and he could pretend to be conservative for a while longer.
I care very much about it.

That’s more indicative of how Trump is acting.
Trump only cares about Trump. He is becoming a one trick pony. Foaming at the mouth. Looking kind of orange like Boehner. Way too liberal for America. We don’t need four more years of liberalism.
Of course he does. Trump has often states that if he is elected president, the country will” BE BACK IN THE CONSTITUTION.” He believes in the constitution.
Ted Cruz, for all his pretty speeches is a hypocrite. He believes only in what he wants to believe. No foreign born person has EVER been president of the united States until the highly questionable Obama. WHO put up a prize of several Million to anyone who could prove Obama was born outside the U.S. It was never claimed, though Obama’s own grandmother claimed he was born in Kenya and we know he had an English passport. YES. Trump believes in the Constitution. His ACTIONS prove it!
The real question-
Does anyone really care about the Constitution?
Trump already admitted he only brought it up because Cruz was closing in on Trump in the polls.
