Top Jeb Bush political donor in Miami: I’ll vote for Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump
Miami Herald ^ | 12/4/15 | PATRICIA MAZZEI

One of Florida's biggest conservative Republican moneymen - and a billionaire backer of Jeb Bush - is so disgusted by Donald Trump's candidacy that if he has to, he'll do the unthinkable:

"If I have a choice - and you can put it in bold - if I have a choice between Trump and Hillary Clinton, I'm choosing Hillary," Miami healthcare magnate Mike Fernandez told the Miami Herald on Friday.

Why not - Jeb and Hillary are both flaming liberals - the only difference for this guy is that he’s been :doing business” with Jeb and they know each other....

The majority of Bush/Christie/Kasich supporters would of course vote for a democrat over Trump. Hell, most are democrats.

Proving the Point, Jeb and Hilliary are the same person... As has been pointed out the GOPe is the same... as the DNC!

Remember who the GOPe made a BIG thing of the Question to Trump in the first debate? Will you support the GOP nominee and not run 3rd party... Now that this Question is about to bite those who pushed for such is it not interesting how they squirm!

Just Got to love it when the Light of TRUTH is shined on EVIL...

By the way Go Ted Cruz - 2016 Go!

The Enemy is within and until we deal with that Enemy we will Never be able to Deal with the Enemy’s outside the Nation.

It's possible to read too much into this.

Bush has his own loose-cannon billionaire.

Fernandez is certainly trying to influence the election, but at least he's not asking anybody to vote for him. Not yet anyway.

So, an Obamacare beneficiary will vote for Hitlery if Jebbo is not available? That's a shocker, eh?

That just shows the values the GOPe has.

They’d rather stomp their little feet and destroy the country out of spite.

Yes, apparently only Marvin Bush is a “real” Republican, but that may not be true either.

Without his money to shove in people’s faces the guy has ONE VOTE, just like the rest of us. It must really tick off the thugs of the world that they can’t buy Trump.

Talk about sour grapes. Heh-heh!

The Jebbites are in panic-mode. First they try to lock Trump into a loyalty vow. Now this. Full circle.

Somewhat agree...I think the choice would be to not bother voting

You have Hillary: a big govt statist
You have Yeb: a RINO big govt statist
You have Trump: for all 69 of his years except, conveniently, the last 6 months, a big govt Hillary and RINO supporting statist

What in his record would indicate that there’s a dimes worth of difference? If those are my choices, and they’re all different speeds on the same road to hell, why would I even bother?

36% of Republicans say they will not vote for Trump, so this guy isn’t alone. Misguided, but not alone.

Well, Tennessee (where I reside) is a very red state; it will go for the Republican candidate, regardless of how (or whether) I vote.

But I would prefer to vote, simply as a matter of principle. (As the old saying goes, one cannot really complain about the eventual winner, if one does not even bother to vote.)

I would just vote for the conservatives....in the downstream races!

Whereas I certainly would not consider Donald Trump to be a true conservative, he is considerably to the right of Hillary Clinton on most issues--and not nearly so philosophically malleable, either--so I would much prefer Trump over Hillary (even though I would much prefer that someone else should win the GOP nomination).

Simple enough, really.

If, and that’s a big IF, we were to accept the terms of your argument:

Jeb wins: Life sucks.
Hillary wins: Life sucks.
Trump wins: ...maybe life will suck. Maybe not.

If the choice is between something you KNOW can’t get much worse and only a chance that it might be bad, but also a chance that it might be pretty good, then the choice should be pretty obvious.

And if you can’t see that, then I invite you to take your despair-mongering and lock yourself in your bunker, because your give-up rhetoric is very tiresome.
