Voters would show up if Trump is on 2016 ballot

If Donald Trump were the GOP nominee, he would cause the highest voter turnout, relative to any other Republican hopeful. John Kasich, on the other hand, would keep people at home.

No matter what party affiliation you consider, Trump brings them out. Republicans, Democrats and independents are all most likely to show up if Trump is on the ballot. (In our analysis, we assumed a constant variable: the Democrats nominating Hillary Clinton.)

Not only do they show up to vote, but they vote for Trump. He's got the highest percentage of voters - across both parties and independents.

Well...folks...no matter how hard Obama has tried to destroy the USA...he has failed miserably!!! He has, however, greatly succeeded in four areas......he has set African-Americans back 100 years....poor fools are blind, deaf & dumb, to recognizing it,......Obama has successfully destroyed the Democrat Party, politically...those Democrat folks also too blind to see it, Obama has insured, whoever the Democrat candidate for POTUS is, will take a political beating next November, delivered by one Donald Trump!! Obama will go down in history as the worst POTUS in the entire history of the USA!!!

‘’Ain’t it grand to be alive to see this?’’

Many would consider this a lighter-side statement. For me, it’s serious. When I was diagnosed with cancer in earl 2014, I’m ashamed to say that I never cried once throughout the whole ordeal. When I explored deep inside me, I realized that I didn’t really care. I didn’t want to live in the America that Obama has created. Our old Sunday School chorus, “Heaven Is Better Than This” popped into my head several times a day.

Now with news like this, there is a shadow of hope for America. I’m glad cancer didn’t get me!

I fully expect the markets to crash big in the next few weeks and months.

Which segment of our economy would you say is leading the way?

Prices have dropped 70% over the last 12 month on the Baltic Index. These levels are worse than pre 2008 recession levels.

I trade for a living.

The markets are in total lock down and have been so for the last few days. They are not allowed to move much because if they do the Fed will lose control. Something big is lurking in the background the Fed is trying to fight off.

Today I saw these 2 headlines.

China Plunges Most In Three Months, Pushing “Black Friday” Into The Red For Global Stocks

Putin Accuses Obama Of Leaking Flight Details To Turkey After Russia Releases Video Of S-400 SAM Deployment In Syria

Let me tell you this is beyond explosive. The Chinese and Russians are very, very unhappy about how they are being treated because they view the way the west is treating them as an attack on their sovereignty. They will retaliate and send the US markets into hell even it means a lot of destruction to themselves. They are not going to quietly take this.

Brace yourself.

Real estate, bonds, the dollar, and the markets for starters, retail for starters.

The article does not have Cruz in it because he has no chance to win the nomination. In order to win the nomination you have to win the big states. Cruz is not even in the top 4 in Fla. He may have a small chance at Iowa and Texas that’s it.

LOL. Your rationalization is pathetic.

No my analysis is just rational and based on the fact that Cruz does not have broad appeal. The conservatives on FR love him but Cruz is too conservative for the average GOP voter.

The average GOP voter is middle of the road or slightly right of center as is the average independent voter. Hence the ascension of Donald J. Trump.

Ted Cruz is not polling well anywhere except Iowa and we are only 2 months out from the Primaries. In two months from now Trump will still be leading Rubio and Cruz by wide margins. This is likely a run away election for Trump.

That sounds cheap. It costs 4 times that much to ship a car from Texas to California.

Wow. Glad we moved when we did - we went Galt just this summer, trying to get set up to be self-sufficient eventually. Better push that into ASAP now.

If the Russians and Chinese sense a leadership change, would they hold off? Of course, Trump is talking about expanding our economy at the expense of theirs....

I have no idea.

I do know the Chinese and the Russians have been crapped on. They would rather fight to the death than take this kind of humiliation.

December is Christmas time. I can see these two countries preparing a Christmas present to the westerners that will really ruin the festivities and I mean in a huge way.

About the Russians.

Don’t forget that during WWII, Stalin sacrificed 500,000 men in a battle that had no hope of succeeding for the Russians, rather than give the Germans a clean victory. I believe this was in the battle f Stalingrad. Sacrificing 500,000 men allowed the Russians to mutilate the Germans even though the Germans technically won the battle. The Russians knew there was no hope of victory but they went into the slaughter.

This is the kind of mentality the west is going up against in Russia and China. Russia is blaming Obama for the downing of their fighter jet. The Russian/Chinese are livid and simply will retaliate in a big way.

And with a Trump/Cruz ticket, there would be 8 years of Trump, and then 8 more of Cruz.

Cruz today said the race will be between him and Rubio so quit pimping the Trump/Cruz stuff, Trump is out per Cruz. </s>

LOL. Your rationalization is pathetic.

But absolutely true. That may change since Cruz himself has excluded Trump from the race, saying on CNN this morning that the race will ultimately be between himself and Rubio.

Thanks for your insights and thoughts into this Damocles feeling so many of us have about some impending sword about to fall.

Nothing is too big to fail, not company nor country, especially not if it breaks too many rules too consistently for far too long.

Fate comes running for anyone or anything so foolish and we have no place to hide.

You are right on target with this. I don’t think much of the Western world understands Russian or Asian mindsets. They expect them to react as we would and history has shown that is not the case at all.
